LMAO.....

Let the games begin. The GOP is going to blow Kerry/Edwards out of the water on this.

You know what CF. Maybe Hicksville, USA needs Dubya's leadership but of the people I know in Florida (The most important state in the election in the south) where they are actually "civilized" are sick and tired of Dubya's crap. He makes politicians look like angels.

I hate because Dubya has screwed the US in the eyes of the world. Now they know us as the bullies of the world. Instead of the free and just country. EOD.

BTW: Why are we getting Dubya involved in a democratic thread?

isnt Edwards a malpractice lawyer?

Because the wide spread elitist belief is that southerners are ignorant, gun-toting, racists with no education.

(Disclaimer : I dont believe this above statement, just letting you know to avoid the unoriginal youre the one who said it argument)

I live in the South Rippy. I hate on those who want Bush for his nonexitent leadership. Oh sure: "We will go into Iraq. The enemy shall not defeat us." But hey, those words are too big for even Bush to understand. Sure he went to Harvard but thats on his Dad's name. Sure he was in the Air Force, but he went AWOL after a couple months. Some leadership eh?

Only 'civilized' people in the South live in Florida? That's a real intelligent statement, and oh so civilized....

Yeah, we should hate those darn rich, educated people who did nothing to earn it on thier own. All of 'em except Kerry, that is. We'll just forget about the little fact that he married into massive amounts of money. Twice.

You are right. It's alot better than a fat intern underneath the white house desk.

his only f***ing platform over his entire senate career was fighting tort reform.

we're about to enter the golden age for trial lawyers. i knew i shouldve gone to law school...

Come on down to Pennsylvania too and come support Rick Santorum. Is the key voice behind caps even though few years ago he broke all his proposals and ran to the bank to cash in on his wife's slight discomfort in her neck.

After he got the money he began pushing for caps.

Really classy guy.

A Kerry/Edwards ticket has been projected to defeat Bush/Cheney.? Good.

443554

Is this before or after Hillary's rumor/smear/terror camapaign against the Kerry/Edwards ticket kicks in?

I hope you DO realize this Kerry/Edwards ticket MUST be defeated in Nov for her to ever have a chance again....work out the timelines.

She's had two opportunities - now as Kerry/Clinton, and next election as Clinton/somebody. The ideal shot for her would be next election with a clean slate as Cheny won't be running due to health concerns - next elextion is a "clean slate" for both sides. The IRaq debacle should be mostly wrapped up by then, economy improved - she'll have a good chance at campaigning on the squishy left stuff she wants to.

From Hillary's POV - Kerry MUST lose this election.

443765

She sent out a letter two weeks ago pushing for donations towards Senator Kerry and it was an extreamly passionate letter about her feelings toward Kerry. Not exactly the stuff hatred is bread out of.

It's what got me to donate my 100 to Kerry.

No, my college town pretty much wants anything but Dubya's leadership... I don't know if you think I'm Billy Bob from the backwoods or something, but I'm not.

And what is the crap of Dubya you refer to?

After reading this thread, and you all knew I would, and after meeting Sen. Edwards numerous times (9 to be exact since last December 2003),

I can tell you this...

To the people who say he has no experience...

John Edwards has had 6 years in the Senate. George W. Bush had 6 years as Governor of Texas.

If you want to say Edwards only has 4.5 because of his campaign, don't forget that W. had to campaign for a year and a half as well then.

Those who call him a flaming liberal are extremely misinformed. (by the way, Shaq-man, you made an oxy-moron when you said "Edwards supporters have to have the lowest IQ politics-followers I've ever seen" - - that doesn't even make cohesive sense)

Sen. Edwards is a moderate, and a proven one at that...

- He's for the death penalty

- Against Gay Marriage

- For Less Government, and less government programs

- For Less Middle Class Taxes

Last I checked those were CONSERVATIVE positions.

For those who say he was born rich and will die rich, WRONG

Sen. Edwards' parents were so poor when Sen. Edwards was born that they had to TAKE A LOAN FROM THE BANK to get him home from the hospital! Thats poor! Sen. Edwards saw the looks on his fathers face when his Dad came home and told his family he was laid off.

Anybody who question's the Senators knowledge and experience of being in the middle to lower class better go read a biography on Edwards.

And as a trial lawyer, Sen. Edwards set a standard that he would not take Frivelous lawsuits (aKa, the lawsuits against Mc Donalds for making people fat or things as such), Sen. Edwards only took on cases where a person(s) was/were severely hurt and needed to seek a settlement from the responsible party. His clients made more per case then he did.

Sen. Edwards is a proven fighter, and hopefully now we have Kerry for 8 years, and then Edwards for 8 years to make sure America is back on track again.

if you think I'm Billy Bob from the backwoods or something, but I'm not.

And what is the crap of Dubya you refer to?

446901

Hi Billy Bob! :mischief

For the Death Penalty? Against gay marriage? "For" less government? "For" lower middle-class tax cuts? Those aren't Conservative positions, those are p***y positions. Bill Clinton and the rest of the DLC held many of the same "positions". So who gives a whit? Just further proves that Edwards is shallow.

What's next, he's gonna come out against child molestation? Go John Go!

No experience in intelligence?

No experience in Foreign Relations?

Bah! Sen. Edwards served on the Senate Intelligence and Senate Foreign Relations Committee's from Day 1, and has far more political experience in world politics then a Governor from Texas did.

Face, it dude - Edwards is a lightweight.

:lol :lol Funny, same could be said about some guy that became president 4 years ago... Face it, Bush is a lightweight, that is why he needs Dick Cheney.
