July 10, 200422 yr Author either lowell or cabrera shoulda been in the HR derby, i dont care which one but one of them should have been invited
July 10, 200422 yr if Sosa, Griffey, Thome, and Bonds were all retired....yes, I would agree. Neither are power hitters anyway. Lowell is a doubles hitter. Cabs hits HRs but is not a power hitter. You are SUCH A HOMER!
July 10, 200422 yr you have no case...you just keep repeating that they should be in the derby...but you have no real reason.
July 10, 200422 yr look, Lowell just hit a HR...he totally needs to be in the Derby. Who cares that Bonds is the best HR-hitting player in the majors, Thome leads the league, Sosa is on steroids and has hit over 60 HRs, and Griffey who is a Derby master. They should like totally just make it 6 slots for the NL...with Cabs and Lowell on there.
July 10, 200422 yr yeah forget Thome, Griffey or Bonds.....a HR Derby would always be incomplete without the likes of Cabrera or Lowell. good HR hitters, but not derby quality.
July 10, 200422 yr im pretty sure they would suck in the derby, too. They arent Derby type hitters. Griffey is.
July 10, 200422 yr Also if anyone should be a replacement in The NL, it should of been Dunn although I do remember them offering it to Sosa last year and I don't think he was an allstar last year. That or I'm extreamly confused.
July 10, 200422 yr damn, everyone is just eating away at marlinschamps. i realize how wrong he is but damn, just too much :deadhorse
July 11, 200422 yr Author I dont really care, notice I said IMO. No s*** Thome hits more jacks than Lowell and Cabrera. And of course they cant be compared to Griffey, Sosa, and Bonds. But hey Im a Marlins fan. And it wont hurt to see them try and give it a shot. I can have my own opinions and so can you. I stated mine and you did too. Just drop it. You're worse than my 4 year old sister. Giving them a shot at the derby would be neat to see. At least we'd get to see a Marlin hitting in the derby. I know all the NL hitters in the derby have waaaayyyyyyy better stats then Miguel and Lowell. But hey, I would have been neat if they were invited. If they choke then so be it. If they dont then hey, great for them.
July 11, 200422 yr I dont think they should be on their unless Griffey Pulls out (Injury) or someone else pulls out. But as Len Kasper and Tommy Hutton mentioned, Its a Park that Lowell could kill the Ball in..
July 11, 200422 yr Author That's my reason for that. Lowell will kill the ball in Minute Maid park. By the way what happened to Griffey?

July 11, 200422 yr Author LOL guy, Im not biased get over that already. You're worse than a poodle humpin on someone's leg. That's all I got to say. :lol

July 11, 200422 yr Author And yes I joined these forums like 2 or 3 days ago, but guess what, that does not mean Im a newbie so take your little comments somewhere else.
July 11, 200422 yr Author That's just plain dumb there with what you said Nugget. Why the hell do people hate so much these days.
July 11, 200422 yr He would never be considered because the only reason he is playing everday is because Kearns is hurt, but this guy hits the ball further than anyone I have ever seen in BP. That guy is Wily Mo Pena!!! Dunn I think is the guy that should have been in the HR Derby.
