Did you ever wear braces?

Featured Replies

I did. Back in 5th grade. Got them off in 8th. I then stopped wearing my retainer and my teeth pretty much went back to where they were...

Had em for 4years took em off bout 2 week's ago and i chewed gum with my braces,i did everything with my braces they didn't stop me from doing nothing,n i'm so happy i took em off already i'm alwawys smiling

I had 2 sets of braces. I had one set of standard 18 brackets for about a year and 2 months. Those things friggin hurt so bad. My gums were swollen for like 3 days after each time I got them tighten. They were horrible.

Then I moved to a different state. And got a different orthodontist, and he put in 22 brackets that causes your teeth to move faster. I would have had them for 2 more years until one night, when I was really lazy, instead of me using my latex elastic bands to attach my upper and lower jaw, I put in rubber bands that were much heavier than the latex. My teeth moved into their position over night, and so I got my braces taken of a year early.

Nope
