Forget O'Reilly, & Limbaugh, its Hannity & Coulter

Featured Replies

Bill O'Reilly is actually more fair and moderate with the democrats then given credit for, but still not as fair as Tim Russert or Chris Matthews.

Rush Limbaugh is basically forgotten.

The new and real conservative pundits that are dangerous people are Sean Hannity and Anne Coulter.

Anne Coulter is this self centered ugly blonde b-tch who calls anybody who is not part of the Facist wing of the Republican party "treasonous", and anybody who doesn't suck President. Bush's co-ck should be arrested.

And Sean Hannity is just flat out not fair to anybody but Republicans, he tells Democrats to shut up and shove it on an almost daily basis. He does "non-partisan" concerts, but then asks the crowd in attendance who they support, Bush or Kerry, and of course everybody yells "Bush".

Just remember, for as bad as Limbaugh and O'Reilly are, Hannity and Coulter are just as bad, and probably worse.

The only reason I'm posting this, is because I want to get the word out and make sure people aren't just looking at the normal suspects of Republican Spin Meisters, and that Hannity and Coulter are the real spinsters to fight, not O'Reilly and Limbaugh.

Coulter isn't dangerous, she's entertaining.

Nobody takes anyone who froths the way she does seriously. The American public pretty much automatically discounts ravers as "nuts" - which is why Rush is somewhat effective. He's relatively calm.

Dave Barry is entertaining. Coulter's just plain scary.

Add Al Franken to that list, hes very dangerous

At least he doesn't call O'Reilly a fascist, unlike what that bitch does to her opponents :whistle

IMO Franken is just as bad, possibly worse, b/c coulter is dismissed as being a ranting lunatic, and even though she often makes points that make sense, she doesnt use fact to back them up. Franken is a comedian who for some reason is seen by people as a political expert.

Dude,

Did you know that Chris Matthews is a Democrat? He is a moderate Democrat. One of those rare political animals in its way to extinction who can see the good in the opposing party and the bad in his own party.

Chris takes beatings on our camp because he constantly hammers the Democrats for not taking a firm stand on some issues. There are times in which I feel like throwing tomatoes at the TV when he is overly critical of the Democrats, because it is difficult to swallow the truth sometimes :confused . But he also goes for the jugular with the Republicans. Chris has opposed this war ever since Bush said they were going in, but he also has been supportive of the President when everyone calls him a liar in our camp.

I may not like what he has to say half of the time, but at least I know he tries to be fair. This is something that can not be said of Hannity, Coulter or Rush Limbaugh, because I have never heard them say anything good about the opposition and are cheer leaders for their own party... There is nothing wrong with that, but if you are going to call yourself a "fair and balanced" journalist you should at least take off the rose colored glasses when analyzing your party and the blindfold when looking at the opposition.

i like matthews and i like o'reilly

i don't like limbaugh, franken, hannity & coulter

russert is another guy who I don't mind

I like guys who are fairly consistent, fairly level and not blindly biased

I too am a Moderate Democrat that supported Bush in 2000. Matthews voted Bush in 2000.

But this year sounds like he's going Kerry 100% like me as well.

Coulter doesn't call her opponents facists, because she knows that facism and nazism are on the far right side. She normally calls them socialists and communists because thats whats on the far end of the left side.

BTW, When you say Hannity is not fair, you are full of BS. He is very fair, gives them the chance to speak and then argues with them. Just because he doesn't let the the liberals rant and rave out of control doesn't mean he isn't fair.

:whistle Rush is the #1 Radio Show in the United States....forgotten alright.

Bill O'Reilly is the #1 Cable Talk Show Host in the ratings.

Hannity I already posted about. Coulter is there to sell books and be a nut, that is her objective!

Come on Phlub, you can do better than that.

I dont really watch any of them. I read the first chapter of Hardball a couple years ago :plain.

I like learning and discussing politics, but I'd rather read than hear people talk about it like that. Especially in a venue where I can't respond (like I could get on the radio and discuss).

And Phlub, how is Coulter Fascist? I know you didnt just come out and say she was, but you implied it.

I don't like Chris Matthews' style. His wife is a very good reporter, but he just seems like a man who should stay behind the scenes. His on air persona just isn't smooth enough.

I had to read Hardball for AP US Gov. my senior year in HS.....of course I read one chapter, and got by. I mean cmon, 2nd semester of my senior year....I was already accepted to the college I wanted to go to...

I know that Franken beat O'Reilly's radio show in New York ratings. Both Air America and the Radio Factor have terrible affiliate relations. Both rely on time buys and have bad timeslots.
