February 11, 200321 yr comment_2143 As an Oriole fan, I can say I like the move....but his high ERA the last few years is scary. The O's need help big time in the rotation. February 12, 200321 yr Author comment_2144 If nothing else, Helling is a guy that should eat up a lot of innings for the O's. His ERA is a little high, but still a full 2 to 3 runs lower than Jose Lima, a guy that some on this board seem to think would be great on the Marlins later....... February 12, 200321 yr comment_2146 Nice to see another former Marlin with the Orioles. cgator- I agree... He can be dominant as he has been earlier with the Rangers...But he just needs to get back in stride.. Not a bad pick.
