August 19, 200421 yr Gagne's ERA balloons from 1.40 to 2.14 in Wednesday nights (Thursday mornings) outing. His ERA went form 2nd to 5th in the NL and from 3rd to 9th in the MLB. Looper, Frank Cordero, Brad Lidge, and Dan Kolb are some names you wouldnt expect to be better than Gagnes coming into the season. Just one outing made this much difference. OUCH
August 19, 200421 yr Yeah when I saw 2.14 in the paper this morning I wondered what his original ERA was.
