Things couldnt be getting easier for us. Lets just go out and get it done

I don't know if they could've worked it out, but I still can't understand why they wouldn't use Logan Kensing against the Mets & save our best for the Cubs series. Unless Kensing had pitched recently....?

From past experience, we'd probably do better against Piazza and Floyd rather than some bench scrubs :lol .

Wilson Delgado...Ty Wigginton, guys who arent normally good against other teams do well against the Marlins.

That's what I was wondering..

Looking at Valdez's splits, he is 4-4 with a 3.71 ERA at Wrigley over his career.

Also, he pitched against the Cubs once this year and went 7 IP, 3 ER, 7 H.....

Also, why not throw Kelsing and Vladez at the Mets and have our 4 best go at the Cubs or am I missing something?

Remember, the Cubs have never seen Kelsing. Plus, this keeps all of the pitchers on set rest patterns, instead of screwing them up later.

The only reason we are using Kelsing that day is to keep the rotation on their normal 5 day rests. I really hope he performs well, I just don't know if it was a good decision to use him rather than a starter with some major league experience. However, McKeon seems to know what he's doing so i'll just keep my faith in him.
