Has the talent, gets leads, blows leads.

No question here.

You're probably right, but I was trying to prove a point.

Be a bad team, or be a good team. Don't give me this get a lead then play a stupid prevent defense and end up losing crap.

Crap penalties here, missed kicks there, I'm so tired of it.

Temple because you have good players every year and get s***ty coaching and a poor fanbase....

Temple gets good players?

So what youre saying is that the Gators are to college football what the Dolphins are to the NFL...a bunch of underachieving chokers...Im a Dolphins fan, but the similarities are there

Yes, that's exactly it.

I don't know if they're underachievers, but man, they always come so close then break your heart.

Substitute Florida for Texas or Kansas State. As a non-Gator fan, they got screwed on that personal foul.

Look in the pros. Dan Klecko, Mathias Nkwenti, Alshermond Singleton, Raheem Brock among others. Rian Wallace and Walter Washington from this year's team are also pros. They may not have too many

After Maryland and PSU load up their plates, Temple only has to compete with Rutgers for talent.

West Virginia had their fair share of Pennsylvania players. Also, Rutgers is on the rise and could make a bowl game this year.

Rutgers is also working on getting alot of the players who don't make it to the Big Three in Florida

It's not tough, but annoying being a true Hurricane fan, in the sense that you sat through the probation years, you've watched the team grow, and then everyone hates your team and everyone puts a blanket statement on all fans making them all frontrunners.

It is tough to be a Texas fan.

cause of yearly expectations.

but its miles and miles tougher to follow SMU.

the only other school close to us in shittiness is Army.

I dont find it that tough to be a Florida fan. It was one game.

3 games

miami, florida state 03

tennessee 04

I'm not big on crying about officiating, but if calls had gone the other way you're talking about beating FSU and UT. The FSU game last November was a very controversial game, and the loss in Knoxville on Saturday was marred by one terrible call with a minute left. Sure, the players lost the game, but they probably played well enough to win both of those games.

This stuff has been happening for years. Especially the last two.

I take you back to 2001. All we needed to do was beat Tennessee and we were in the NC game. We were way better than UT that year, and ended up losing 34-32. LSU then wins the SEC Championship over UT, an LSU team that we beat by 40 earlier in the season. This is just an example.

Miami last year was devastating.

FSU last year was sickening.

Arkansas almost came back from 27 down.

Then of course Tennessee.

Another thing is the fact that over the years we can never keep players for 4 years, mostly WR's. Here's a list....

R. Anthony

J. Green

I. Hilliard

R. Caldwell

J. Gaffney

T. Taylor

D. Jackson

L. Sheppard

R. Grossman

Another thing is the fact that we rejected Clinton Portis from coming here, and Mike Williams decided to jump ship for USC once SPurrier resigned.

It's the fact that they are contending every year and don't make it. That is the challenge.
