October 4, 200422 yr Mickey Mouse, because I cannot consciously vote for Jihad Betty, and voting for a Republican is straight out this election.
October 4, 200422 yr The poll should of also included options for none of the above and/or I'd rather die than vote for either. Mel is a right wing, bible thumping, neo-conservative, ideological coat tail riding Nazi in waiting. And he looks to be the smart choice in comparison to Castor. Yikes!

Truth is Mel is as moderate as they come from both parties, especially on economic isues

Bill McCollum, as "anti-family" and a darling of the "radical homosexual lobby" because he supported bipartisan legislation against hate crimes and is in favor of embryonic stem cell research. That's the Rove machine at it's best right there. Jeb Bush called on Martinez to pull the commercial. He did, although he didn't disavow the attacks: In a move right out of the Bush-Rove playbook, Martinez said he wouldn't approve of the kind of language used in the attacks, even though the attacks were made by his own campaign. The St. Petersburg Times withdrew its endorsement of Martinez, saying that the candidate had launched "hateful and dishonest attacks" and that the paper did not want to be associated with his "bigotry."
