June 30, 200322 yr Viagra man battiing 262, 19 bombs, 52 RBI's... D.Lee batting 262, 15 bombs, 42 RBI's..... DLee's a scrub... Raffy is a HOF... as if comparing a Hall Of Fammer who is past his prime..... is even fair to D.lee... if any1 we should get ist Ryan Kelesko young and when Healthy very good.....
June 30, 200322 yr Fox Sports Net South broadcasts every Wednesday Braves game on thier air, check out the Braves websit eif you don't believe me. TBS and Turner South cannot do Wednesdays due to the ESPN contract. TBS and Turner South do most games, but Braves Wednesday Night Baseball on FSN South/
June 30, 200322 yr Guess the deal sounds pretty good. Marquis could be a big asset. But, Mark DeRosa (hitting 226) is an asset? 'Til he proves differently, I'll stick with Mordecai and Fox
June 30, 200322 yr Palmiero is a mistake. He would never sign here, so you are looking at renting a player for a couple of months (And that's only if he doesn't have a no trade in the first place). Raffy is just like Juan in that they are rapidly approaching (or have passed in Juan's case) the time in their careers when they can play every day in the field. Both of them are destined for the wonderful land of the AL and the DH. As for Castro, might wanna think twice about that. He's cheap, he's got great potential, and he's our starting C for years to come after Pudge goes on his merry way. This is happening far too often for tastes, but I'm agreeing 100% with Mr. Filet O' Fish's post. What is this world coming too? lol
June 30, 200322 yr DeRosa has not played much this year (due to Giles having a great year), check out his stats last year when he played more.

Thanks for the clarification.

Anyways DLee aian't worth it... Raffy's first 5 years his BA was .285 (per year) and DLee is at .252 (per year) in their first 5 years in the MLB...

Thanks for the clarification. No Fox does it's own telecast with it's own announcers and everything. TBS had a contract with FSN South because TBS is over-the-air and cannot do Wednesday games due to ESPN so it sold the games to FSN South. Turner South did not exist then, so FSN south was the only cable option. The FSN/Braves telecasts will continue till 2011 I believe.
June 30, 200322 yr Give me a Healthy Ryan Kelesko and 2 BUL PEN ARMS..... and i will be the happpppppppiest man in da world
June 30, 200322 yr I dunno, Klesko has been injured lately. Healthy, he is great, but he hasn't been really healthy. San Diego has had alot of health problems lately.
June 30, 200322 yr DeRosa has not played much this year (due to Giles having a great year), check out his stats last year when he played more. I'll take your word for it regarding DeRosa in 2002, he did hit .297. You have to keep in mind the 25 man roster. You can't trade one guy and get two guys back without cutting someone else. I'd like to see Fox go - if the Yankees still want him for a prospect or two I'm glad to part ways. He's affable, the media likes him, he talks the talk, but he is just so mediocre wherever he plays, third, second, SS. His $800k salary would pay both of the other players leaving Lee's $2 mil (left in this season's salary) to go out and improve the team. It's all about adding by subtracting. lolol
June 30, 200322 yr Give me a Healthy Ryan Kelesko and 2 BUL PEN ARMS..... and i will be the happpppppppiest man in da world You're not the GM tho...
June 30, 200322 yr I would rather have DeRosa as a backup for Castillo if we keep Castillo. If we do not keep Castillo then a Fox/DeRosa combo at second would not be bad. A lefty/right bat can platoon well.
June 30, 200322 yr DeRosa has not played much this year (due to Giles having a great year), check out his stats last year when he played more. DeRosa's hitting 226 with lifetime average of 275. He ain't no big thing. He's just another discard, a bench player. We don't need him. And, if we get him, then another team will be smart enough to steal Mordecai, Fox or Hooper from us. Too much Fantasy Baseball, not enough reality.
June 30, 200322 yr Trading Derrick Lee is the key to keeping Lowell and Castillo. We'll all know in a few weeks but I'm stickin' to my guns. :super
June 30, 200322 yr Author Give me a Healthy Ryan Kelesko and 2 BUL PEN ARMS..... and i will be the happpppppppiest man in da world Klesko makes $$$$ Palmeiro would be paid for

Too much Fantasy Baseball, not enough reality. If we get rid of Lee for Marquis and DeRosa, it wouldn't be bad. Lee is killing us, and we need to make room for Palmeiro and whichever 1B prospect is coming up next year. We won't be giving up Hooper. Mordecai hasn't been anything special and I believe has a worse BA than DeRosa. Fox can either be traded to the Yankees, if we keep Louis or we can keep Fox if we rid ourselves of Castillo. I would like us to keep Castillo. If these trades mean we can keep Lowell, I am all for it!
June 30, 200322 yr Hope it happens. If we do not do this. I will hate the Marlins forever. JUST KIDDING! :lol
June 30, 200322 yr BTW, I believe DeRosa can play every infield position?!?! Can anyone confirm this is?
June 30, 200322 yr BTW, I believe DeRosa can play every infield position?!?! Can anyone confirm this is? i know he can play third, so SS wouldnt surprise me... he is basically andy fox, just shorter
