June 30, 200322 yr The problem is that Atlanta has not used him as a starter much and not played him much either, so we don't know much. All I know is that he can hurt anyone. I saw him hit a homer into deep CF in Atlanta's Turner Field and it looked like real power.

Lee (Marlin traded) vs. Palmeiro (Marlins get him and he's a future HOFer) if he says this is a bad move, then he has shot down all of his credibility concerning baseball. If he liked the Jr. Seau deal, then he should love this one.
June 30, 200322 yr Orlando Alzegary is the Dolphins halftime show guy who was given a talkshow on WQAM, he treats every move the Marlins make as the beginning of a firesale. Ferral has more air time than him and he supports the Marlins and would counter Big O who doesn't have a time slot.

June 30, 200322 yr well hot damn. I proposed this exact same deal last year. Mark DeRosa for Derrek Lee. I believe I included a couple other players last year, but these were the principles. Of course at that time, I envisioned DeRosa at short, now he would obviously be the replacement for Castillo. Nice to see the Marlins finally get smart.
