im the same way, i match everything in occasions like if im at a game or something special is going on like last years marlins run. i would normally just wear the jersey or a t-shirt or just a cap but last fall i was wearing a marlins jersey/t-shirt and cap at the same time alot.

i hate the crazy colored jerseys and caps. yankee caps arent red or green, dont wear those. better yet, MLBl: dont make those.

people wearing gear of a sport they dont like or care about doesnt bug me though, well to a certain extent. it depends.

i hate when people look at you when your wearing gear of a team that isnt doing well. yesterday i was wearing a Dolphins jersey and got looks and comments from all types of people. couple of jets fans looked at me and said something under there breaths and this dude i know said i should be embarrassed and should burn my jersey.

Unwritten rule around me and my friends is you don't wear stuff of a team that lost the day before or even 2 or 3 days before unless you want everyone to give you a hard time. Seems pretty reasonable to me. When I see people wearing stuff from a team that just lost and I don't know them I always wonder if they actually watched the game or knew that their team lost.

yeah i understand that p.o.v, its just that i hate only wearing a team's stuff after a win. i have this warped sense of loyalty, its pretty weird. im the same person that wore a dolphins shirt to school 2 days after watching them get beat down 62-7. i realize im going to get a hard time from people when i do that and i can take it but i still dont like it.

It's irritating, but I always get brutally harassed when I wear a team's jersey/cap/etc the day after a loss.

I've learned to stop....now the wedgie bruises on my taint are finally starting to heal. :)

unwritten rule i have is if i wear a shirt of a certain team i don't wear a hat and vice versa (so i don't look like i do it for style). i save that stuff for going to the games. people mess with you when you wear a teams clothes after a loss, yet they wear a jersey of a team they can't name one player.

I'm the same way, I wear my teams gear even after a big loss. I don't like only wearing stuff when they win.

I hate stupid girls that say they like the Yankees just because they are the only team they have heard of....like this one girl in my Physics class...she has a gold Yankee necklass and couldnt even tell me who the Yankees closer is. :dont NOT COOL!!

I am a Superfan. Don't give a crap what anyone says.

I'm not sure the superfan theory holds water, especially when you consider that on MOST college campuses dudes are wearing mathcing hats and shirts. Hell, 100% of my sports stuff has a matching thing to go with it hatwise. I'm not wearing Bengals or Buckeyes pants.

But to each their own.

That's because the Yankees suck :)

And I like wearing the gear of a team after they lost. Shows you are sticking with them despite the fact they don't win all the time. It's harder to cheer for a loser than it is for a winner.
