Alot of players will act like they're going to bunt for the first two strikes in order to draw the infield in, then swing away.

Tim Mcarver said that had Orlando Cabrera successfully bunted before getting pluked the Red Sox wouldn’t have scored those 4 runs. For some reason I found that funny. One that he would point that out, and for the reason it was a good time to bunt.
