October 22, 200422 yr what ever happened to the highly respected zogby you libbys just praised? :plain 598154 Even yesterday, Bush by 1 today. What did you expect it to be all Bush?
October 22, 200422 yr Seriously, those are all highly respected polls. :lol 598146 Respected enough to be used by all major media outlets as a credible source, you do realize you don't have to be affiliated with a network to be a respectable poll.

How old are you anyway because your age shines through. The Economist magazine...is a mom and pop organization...wow..youve officially hit unreached before status. Go to the bookstore and pick up a copy. Because you need a real education. The reason I stated these and not Gallup was Gallup hasnt come up with a new one..hence the word new...ever heard of Websters dictionary or is that also mom and pop?
October 22, 200422 yr Author The hell are you talking about? The poll has 3% undecided and 2% non major candidate. If youre talking about the one that is who are you leaning toward on election day being 3% non major, I dont think its inaccurate since it demands an answer from undecideds who might not like either guy. But being that that is not the major one and not the one I cited, Im guess once again the divergence is irrlevant. Since youre obsessed with those leading yes or no questions, Ill ask you..do you think Bush is winning by a large margin right now? YES....OR NO?
October 22, 200422 yr The Economist magazine...is a mom and pop organization...wow..youve officially hit unreached before status. Go to the bookstore and pick up a copy. Because you need a real education. Of course the Economist is reliable. It's probably one of the only objective news sources in the country. But the general pattern of most polls is Bush. The rest of the polls don't seem creditable.
October 22, 200422 yr Author But the general pattern of most polls is Bush. Zobgy is within margin of error, TIPP is within margin of error, Pew research is within margin of error, Wall Street Journal is within margin of error, Harris is within margin of error, Marist college(had Bush up 7 in Sept) is within margin of error, CBS is within margin of error, Time is within margin of error. Now you match me and show me that most show Bush. And if you wanna make a lol face at these as not being credible...please prove why. Thats 8. 9 is greater than 8. Go for it.

Of course an extremely close race will have polls in a margin of error, but it's obvious polls have been trending towards Bush lately.

Ive seen it go up and down both ways.

October 22, 200422 yr I just want to say, a lot of the electoral college polls show Kerry in the lead. I find it funny how a lot of popular vote polls show Bush in the lead in spite of that.
October 22, 200422 yr I cant vote yet cause my 18th birthday is not until December..anyways...you all may not find this as a very credible poll...but if you go to channelone.com you will find the results of the largest mock teen vote in history. Thousands and thousands of high school students from all across the country voted on this poll and you know how kids USUALLY always vote for the same person their parents vote for. If this really is any indication of how their parents will vote...then Kerry doesnt stand a chance!!! I cant remember exactly..but I think GWB had 395 electoral votes to Kerrys like 145 or something. Kerry only won 9 states!!! Bush even killed Kerry in my state, West Virginia, which is an EXTREMELY democratic state. I dunno...i thought since you all were discussing polls you might be interested in those results. :confused ....maybe not though!

Bush received 393 electoral votes, while Kerry received 145. I don't quite think this election will be that one sided. link to the thing marlinschic is talking about

October 22, 200422 yr I don't quite think this election will be that one sided. 598307 Of course it will be much closer...but I dont think I know a single kid in my school who doesnt like the same person their parents are going to vote for. I dont think we are the only kids in the country who cant make up our own minds...so this poll still makes me think GWB will win it.
October 22, 200422 yr Do you think the winner of OneVote will win the actual election on Nov. 2? Yes: 55227 votes (39%) No: 83610 votes (60%) Total Votes: 138837 This is a poll on that page. Mind you G. W. won with 55% of the vote, this site makes no sense.

But there are a massive amount of people in the electorate that are outside that demographic. If I remember my high school years correcty, half the kids polled probably filled it out quickly just to fall asleep. These polls being scientific is probably unreal. Plus one has to wonder whether the sample size was isolated to channel one viewers which might exlcude a lot of tradtionally dem regions. Look at California. This poll has Kerry within margin of error when any Republican will tell you California is so democratic that even Arny has to make sure to appease the dems. But whatever floats your boat.

I subscribe to the Economist, and while it's a very credible source of news and info when it comes to international news, I can think of about a gajillion other publications that are more objective.
