November 14, 200421 yr Now that our long nightmare is over, who will be the next coach? The list seems to be: Nick Saban-Will he leave LSU? Even if he does, I just dont like the track record of college coaches. In fact I really dont want a college coach. Brad Childress(Eagles O coordinator)-This guy supposedly has head coach written all over him. He is liked by Ron Wolfe, who himself is a possible GM candidate. Kirk Ferentz, Iowa-Another college name? This would be a huge jump. Charlie Weis, Patriots O-coordinator: My favorite. Apparently this guy is brilliant. He has health problems but who cares, he isnt running the 40. Plus he would know Bellichek well. :thumbup Jim Fassel-Has he learned his lesson from the Giants? Probably not. I really hope they hire Scott Pioli to replace Spielman. Dolfin fans have any thoughts?

Like Brian Billick, I think he hit a special stretch when he got that team. I cant figure out why those two havent done well since they won SBs if they are such great coaches.

No way he turns down the head coach position at one of the best franchises in the NFL to run second fiddle forever. All humans have egos that will drive them.
