November 21, 200421 yr HOLLYWOOD -- Actor Tim Allen has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The former "Home Improvement" star said the area is about to have major neighborhood improvements. Allen joked that all the buildings in the area will be named after him. Hundreds of people gathered to see the unveiling of Allen's star, next to the El Capitan Theatre at the corner of Hollywood and Highland. Other celebrities present included Patricia Richardson, who played Allen's wife in "Home Improvement," and Jamie Lee Curtis, Allen's spouse in the new movie "Christmas with the Kranks."
