for some reason i knew you were going to mention that when i saw the title of this thread.

How about the fact that we actually had to add a "Hurricane Central" forum just to cover all of the hurricane discussions and information. That was pretty crazy.

That was more of a testament to Cape and B4P thinking we all couldn't survive without every forecast and map (for God's sake people this is a Florida Marlins site) than for how serious the matter really was.

yup...though there were four hurricane bros, not two.

next year i think there should be a "hurricane game threads" subforum.

Vlad thread was the best man. It was craziness. I kept hitting refresh over and over again.

The hurricane subforum was pretty hysterical. I really liked it when they posted some tropical depression not even projected to make landfall.

Yea, who cares about the safety of others, ONLY THE MARLINS!

yes, because the Marlins message board is the first place to look when searching for ways to keep safe in case of a hurricane.

Thank you.

The thread about the "Marlins Whore" that was in the Philly hotel that the Marlins were staying at, she wanted to bang Pavy, but Boog wanted to bang her, that thread was classic.

I guess we're the only two that remember that thread.

It was my obsession from the onset of the offseason to the day he signed.

But Juanky, if I remember correctly you weren't even "here" for that thread. I remember how it got to like 35 pages in 35 minutes and everyone was like "Aww dang my boy Juanky doesn't know what he's missing. If I remember correctly.

That thread lasted like 2 months man.

Yeah I remember, I missed the first part but I was home for the last 3 hours or so.

hurricane central really got out of hand

at first it was a fine idea because it kept hurricane talk out of the regular forums, which was a good thing

then it became the biggest spamfest ever

I agree with that, people kept posting those stupid maps, that took up like half of a page, and like 10 different people posted them every 3 hours.

642396[/snapback]

That's what it was. That one night must've been 50 pages.

The best thread ever was the Women of MarlinsBaseball.com (Part I & II)...
