Who will win the Peach Bowl?

Featured Replies

The Canes will win.

Coach Zook is no longer, and Charlie Strong is an unproven head coach. Plus the Gators usually stink it up in meaningless bowl games.

i would love to say miami but im really worried about some of the injuries they have so im not making a prediction.

UF has too many unanswered questions about underclassmen leaving for the draft as well. Bleh.

I think they're both pretty even on paper, but Miami will win with the intagibles.

On paper miami is the better team. theyve underperformed this season

Ummm...they seem even to me. UF has underperformed.

Leak > Berlin

Fason > Gore

UF WR's > UM WR's

UM's D >>> UF's D

UM's Special Teams >>> UF's Special Teams

The special teams play will be a crucial part to the game, which UM has a big advantage in.

UF pulls out a shocker and i win my bowl pool

despite the fact that UM is a much better team, i'm not particularly confident in a win because of the injuries like 02pac mentioned and the fact that they've underperformed so badly all season.

Miami finds Florida a bigger rival than Florida finds Miami.

Being a Cane fan my whole life I feel safe saying Miami's rivals go like this:

1 FSU

2 VT

2b UF

And up at G'ville I realize that Gator nation doesn't feel to much toward Miami Nation. They feel LSU, Georgia, Tenn., etc. are all above UM, so this game is bigger for Miami. Plus the winner gets state bragging rights, and Miami had them the last two years. ;)

But if you're a Gator fan in Miami this is huge. Even though it is still the Peach Bowl.

UM has proven me nothing in the second half of season. UF wins in a close one.

What have the Gators proven? They can't beat MSU?

Beating the 'Noles at Doak Campbell comes to mind.

I'm rooting for UF, as I go there and have been a Gators fan for years. Regardless of who wins, it's gonna be a great game.

UM beat FSU this year, last year, and about, oh the last decade. UF has a winning streak of 1 against FSU and a losing streak of 2 to UM. At least the teams UM lost to all made bowls.

Oh I agree with you there, I'm just saying that this year's Gators team proved that, being the underdogs in a difficult stadium to play in, they could overcome the odds and win. MSU was a terrible mistake, but Georgia, LSU and Tenn are all very difficult teams and they ended up being very close games.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow night :)

1986 is I believe where it starts.

And the Gators Nation not thinking much of UM? Are you kidding me? My family goes up there for college and they are UM fans and they still get the treatment when they where UM stuff. UM vs. UF is one of the biggest rivalries in all sports and the only reason why its dropped off is because UM and UF both joined conferences that didn't allow them a game to play each other.
