opening day tickets

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if they are going to open up the power alley seats for opening day...

i'm gonna presume you mean the upper deck seats since the club level seats are always open

my strong guess on that one would be no

Wouldn't that depend on how many tickets are sold? They are already filling the upper deck behind home plate and will work their way around depending upon demand. It could be like the 2003 playoffs and make it all the way to centerfield.

thats not possible, the most they could have would be at around 63,000 because of the picnic area

Forgot about that, but dont they count those people anyway, I know that my Aunts work is taking all the managers to Opening Day, so she will be there and they are sitting in the picnic area.

Anything higher than last year would be a huge success, also it will be interesting how we will do opening week this year. I am going to see if I can get the numbers from last year

Are club level seats bad? We just bought 2 for the Mets. Section 250.

On another note, also gonna see the Fish away when they play the Cubs. Wonder if we can get Bartman seats. LOL. I would love to be wearing my Marlins shirt and catch a ball from that seat.

Those are excellent seats right behind home plate. You'll enjoy them.

The Bartman seat is on the 3rd base side in shallow left field. You can't miss it as it has Cubs stickers all over it.

I have pictures from last summer with my youngest son sitting in it. :p

GAME DATE OPPONENT ATTENDANCE TOTAL AVERAGE
  1 4/6 Expos 55,315 55,315 55,315
  2 4/7 Expos 17,622 72,937 36,469
  3 4/8 Expos 18,121 91,058 30,353
  4 4/9 Phillies 22,923 113,981 28,495
  5 4/10 Phillies 45,725 159,706 31,941
  6 4/11 Phillies 21,317 181,023 30,171

some people are saying that opening day is sold out. the stadium is entirely opened up, like for the postseason, about 66,500 seats. it's hard to imagine that the game has sold out, but that would be grat for business.

Its not sold out. The lower level is sold out but not the upper. There are probably still 30,000 tickets left

None of the games are truly ever "sold out"...

They always hold back a certain amount of tickets for walk-ups.

And another way to get tickets you want is to order season tickets--then you can still get a lower deck seat. It's costly, but if that's what you really want...

What he means is just to check for better availablity than the ones that are currently available to you...the stadium box office "releases" tickets throughout the day.

Club level directly behind home plate is one of the prime location for foul balls, the ones hit there are usually rockets.

Nobody is saying it's sold out, it's just 99% of the good seats are sold out.

People, it's not sold out...

There are still decent seats available.......
