July 18, 200323 yr Allright. I want to see an explanation for this? How many more horrific things will Bush do to this country?
July 18, 200323 yr Author And here is an interesting tidbit I found on the internet.... George W. Bush Resume The White House, USA MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT: *I spent the U.S. surplus and bankrupted the Treasury. *I shattered the record for biggest annual deficit in history. *I set an economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in any 12-month period. *I set all-time record for biggest drop in the history of the stock market. *I am the first president in decades to execute a federal prisoner. *I am the first president in US history to enter office with a criminal record. *In my first year in office I set the all-time record for most days on vacation by any president in US history. After taking the entire month of August off for vacation, I presided over the worst security failure in US history. *I set the record for most campaign fundraising trips by any president in US history. *In my first two years in office I allowed over 2 million Americans to lose their jobs. *I cut unemployment benefits for more out-of-work Americans than any other president in US history. *I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12-month period. *I appointed more convicted criminals to administration positions than any president in US history. *I set the record for the fewest press conferences of any president since the advent of TV. *I signed more laws and executive orders amending the Constitution than any other president in US history. *I presided over the biggest energy crises in US history and refused to intervene when corruption was revealed. *I presided over the highest gasoline prices in US history and refused to use the national reserves as past presidents have. *I cut healthcare benefits for war veterans. *I set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously take to the streets to protest me (15 million people), shattering the record for protest against any person in the history of mankind *I dissolved more international treaties than any president in US history. *I've made my presidency the most secretive and unaccountable of any in US history. *Members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in US history. (The 'poorest' multimillionaire, Condoleeza Rice, has a Chevron oil tanker named after her). *I am the first president in US history to have all 50 states of the Union simultaneously go bankrupt. *I presided over the biggest corporate stock market fraud in any market in any country in the history of the world. *I am the first president in US history to order a US attack and military occupation of a sovereign nation, and I did so against the will of the United Nations and the world community. *I have created the largest government department bureaucracy in the history of the United States. *I set the all-time record for biggest annual budget spending increases, more than any other president in US history. *I am the first president in US history to have the United Nations remove the US from the Human Rights Commission. *I am the first president in US history to have the United Nations remove the US from the Elections Monitoring Board. *I removed more checks and balances, and have the least amount of congressional oversight than any presidential administration in US history. *I rendered the entire United Nations irrelevant. *I withdrew from the World Court of Law. *I refused to allow inspectors access to US prisoners of war and by default no longer abide by the Geneva Conventions. *I am the first president in US history to refuse United Nations election inspectors access during the 2002 US elections. *I am the all-time US (and world) record holder for most corporate campaign donations. The biggest lifetime contributor to my campaign, who is also one of my best friends, presided over one of the largest corporate bankruptcy frauds in world history (Kenneth Lay, former CEOof Enron Corporation). *I spent more money on polls and focus groups than any president in US history. *I am the first president to run and hide when the US came under attack (and then lied, saying the enemy had the code to Air Force One) *I am the first US president to establish a secret shadow government. *I took the world's sympathy for the US after 911, and in less than a year made the US the most resented country in the world (possibly the biggest diplomatic failure in US and world history). *I am the first US president in history to have a majority of the people of Europe (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and stability. *I am the first US president in history to have the people of South Korea more threatened by the US than by their immediate neighbor, North Korea. *I changed US policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts. *I set the all-time record for number of administration appointees who violated US law by not selling their huge investments in corporations bidding for government contracts. *I have removed more freedoms and civil liberties for Americans than any other president in US history. *In a little over two years I have created the most divided country in decades, possibly the most divided that the US has been since the civil war. *I entered office with the strongest economy in US history and in less than two years turned every single economic category heading straight down. RECORDS AND REFERENCES: *I have at least one conviction for drunk driving in Maine (Texas driving record has been erased and is not available). *I was AWOL from the National Guard and deserted the military during a time of war. *I refuse to take a drug test or even answer any questions about drug use. *All records of my tenure as governor of Texas have been spirited away to my fathers library, sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view. *All records of any SEC investigations into my insider trading or bankrupt companies are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view. *All minutes of meetings of any public corporation for which I served on the board are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view. *Any records or minutes from meetings I (or my VP) attended regarding public energy policy are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public review. Now what do YOU people think about all of this? Discuss and explain.
July 18, 200323 yr Thank you Johnny for this, I printed this up to show my dad who would love to see this. It's a shame few Americans can grasp what's going on because they are to busy with their own lives to sit down and watch a news program. A REAL news program not some Bill O'Reilly show that only surrounds it with his views and their is too much entertainment news in it, to be a serious news cast. George Bush is one of the biggest blunders The American People made. Also with the team his daddy set up for him to guide him he has still went under. Even if he somehow loses his bid for re-election. He screws The Dem's over with what he leaves them with. Meaning another Bush Wannabe comes up through the ranks in 2008. That's of course he loses which unless Dean can push his anti-bush stand, Bush will win. Edwards and Kerry are too damn afraid to attack this guy. The only thing I've seen good come from Kerry is on Hardball when he attacked Bush on his handling of Afghanistan. This is before I may remind The Iraq problem came to be news. Bush will fail somewhere and make this a tight race.
July 18, 200323 yr HOWARD DEAN FOR PRESIDENT IN 2004!!!!!!!! *bows* I'm glad some know about The Democratic Contenders besides The Poofy Haired Mass Boy(Kerry). If Dean wins The Primary, He has the best chance at winning the whole thing just because he is not afraid to attack Bush.

If Dean wins The Primary, He has the best chance at winning the whole thing just because he is not afraid to attack Bush. i attended the democratic convention in South Beach on Monday... Dean looks like he would make a great president... Sharpton was there too, but he'll never win...he's also rascist :thumbdown Bob Graham looked alright too

July 18, 200323 yr What pisses me off is he lied to us all about the Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq and now has his little cronys placing the blame on George Tenet. That proves that he lied to us because he wants revenge on Saddam for trying to kill Bush Sr. and also wants oil! John Edwards in 2004!!! If not Edwards, Howard Dean in 2004! And this is coming from a strong Republican. I am as I just said, a big Republican, and I hate Bush.
July 19, 200323 yr So sad that all you guys have is Dean and Kerry. So Sad, too bad Clinton couldn't change his name and serve two more terms, then you guys might have a chance at President Bush Weapon of Mass Instruction This is going to be a fun election cycle, I can feel it.
July 19, 200323 yr http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/sit...ck_a.guest.html has audio clip and more links, feast on the facts. Judge Finds Saddam-Osama Link July 14, 2003 Here's something, of course, that attracts absolutely no interest from the media or from Congress. Remember when Stephen Hayes, writing in the Weekly Standard, dug up those Bill Clinton quotes from 1998 on Iraq? Hayes wrote a piece that reminded all of us that Clinton had said nearly identical things about Saddam as those George W. Bush said. Well, Hayes has a new piece on a story which appeared in the Nashville Tennesseean about a Tennessee judge who believes he is in possession of documents linking Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden. This story has been around for three days. Have you seen anything on it? Of course not! All we hear about in the press is George Tenet and 16 words in the State of the Union about uranium which, by the way, are 100% accurate. We have a montage in the audio link below of a bunch of Democrats and John McCain pushing this notion of the "credibility" of the president is at stake. It's absurd - and wrong. This judge thinks that everything we've heard about an Iraqi intelligence chief meeting with Mohammed Atta and other Al-Qaeda people, including bin Laden himself, is true and he's in possession of proof. Again: have you heard anything about this anywhere else in the press? Nope. Everybody is focused on these meaningless words citing British intelligence on Saddam trying to buy uranium in Africa. Intel which, by the way, the United Kingdom stands by completely. Read Hayes' article http://www.weeklystandard.com/Content/Publ...02/889jldct.asp
July 19, 200323 yr Oh BTW, why I'm enlightening you guys here let's dispell the republicans are for rich and rich are for republicans myth. Democrats Get More Money From "Rich" December 18, 2002 Another myth about "the rich" has been shattered ? namely the conventional wisdom that they are all Republicans ? thanks to the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics. A December 18, 2002 Washington Times editorial reports that donors giving "small and medium amounts" in 2002 overwhelmingly supported the GOP, while "rich or deep-pocketed givers" hugely backed the Democrats! Those giving $200 to $999: GOP $68 million; Democrats $44 million. Those giving $1,000 to $9,999: GOP $317 million; Democrats $307 million. The "fabulously wealthy" donors of $10,000+ gave $111 million to the GOP ? a whopping $29 million less than the $140 million they lavished on the Democrats! Among those who gave $100,000+, the Democrats raised $72 million ? more than double the $34 million the GOP took. "Yeah, Rush, but all those millionaires are Republicans." No, that's not a fact, my friends. The fact is that in the 2002 election cycle, those who gave a million dollars or more poured $36 million into the Democrat coffers, and a paltry $3 million into the pockets of the GOP. Again: millionaire donations went Democrat by a 12:1 margin! The two parties took in about the same amount overall ? GOP: $384 million; Democrats: $350 million. Just look at the Hollywood left, and you see where the big money goes. In addition, the GOP attracted 40% more individual donors! (George W. Bush set an all-time fund-raising record by collecting the most money from one-thousand-dollar donors in the history of presidential politics.) Far more people giving small amounts exist as contributors to the Republican Party - while Democrats skunked the GOP among the super-rich. That's no surprise, since nine of the twelve richest members of the United States Senate are Democrats. We're going to put this up on our website homepage permanently, right alongside the story that the top 50% of wage earners, those who make more than $26,000 a year, pay over 96% of all income taxes. (The IRS data) This myth that the Republicans are the party of the rich is breathing its last gasps, so we're giving you these figures to help put it out of its misery for good. This is not a political commercial you have to disprove. These are actual results of campaign contributions in just the 2002 cycle, which is why this class-envy garbage isn't getting the traction it used to. July 19, 200323 yr What I love is how Bush lied about the WMD. Why hasnt anything been done. His raping of the environment pales in comparsion to his lying to the public.
July 19, 200323 yr Actually here is the truth on that issue. Very scary stuff I would say, the Brits gave us the intel on the uranium and they still stand by it. They Never Should've Caved On Africa Line July 14, 2003 President Bush's 2003 State of the Union Address included the following line: "The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa." Name for me what part of that sentence is wrong or "a lie." None of it. Clifford May's National Review piece is a must-read on this topic. The British government has other intelligence - separate from those Niger documents which the French apparently forged to hurt our effort to liberate Iraq - to prove Saddam tried to purchase so-called yellowcake uranium ore from Africa. Note the president said "Africa," not "Niger." Now all these liberals are acting as if that one line convinced them to support the war. Of course, they never supported it anyway! Furthermore, Bill Clinton and John F. Kerry and all the rest of these Democrats talked about Saddam Hussein's nuclear ambitions as a matter of course for years. So what if this one piece of data, put out there as a red herring by the French and never cited by the president, turned out to be false? This is why CIA Director George Tenet's apology and all these other administration officials rushing to say they're sorry about this makes no sense. There's not only no reason for Tenet to fall on his sword, there's no reason for a sword! This has become an incredible false story, egged on by stories like the one from CBSNews.com headlined "Bush Knew Iraq Info was False." There's nothing in the actual story that says that or backs it up, yet that's the headline! CBS: "CIA officials warned members of the President?s National Security Council Staff the intelligence was not good enough to make the flat statement Iraq tried to buy uranium from Africa." Well, he didn't make that "flat" statement; he attributed it to the UK. Note that the British aren't backing down on the claim Bush cited, so why is the administration? I don't get it. It's More BIG Theory, New Tone BS You see what the White House has gotten for their unnecessary apologies? Now Democrats demand that Bush fire Tenet - consequences to a shakeup at the CIA be damned! Of course, it won't matter if Bush does fire him. Tenet's needless hara-kiri has put blood in the water and gotten the Democrats into a feeding frenzy. Stop the bleeding here, Mr. President. It's over nothing! Rumsfeld and Powell and Rice and Tenet should stop bowing at the feet of the left, which seeks nothing but to discredit you in the war with Iraq anyway. (See: Bush Gives Dems Fuel to Run Him Over). This administrations "new tone" profoundly misunderstands the left. You don't apologize for something you didn't do wrong. The Bush people are obsessed with smashing Bush's credibility and that of the military. Democrats don't care what damage they do to this country - they'll take care of that when they get back in power. To them, nothing could possibly be as bad as Bush continuing in power. It's unconscionable to me that these Democrats would discredit our intelligence capability, and that the White House would help them do so! It's going to get to the point - if it's not there already - where the CIA gives the president some intelligence, and nobody's going to believe it because the Democrats have gone along with this kook theory that he's distorting it for his own aims. Don't chalk this up to criticism of Bush from old El Rushbo. This is a warning. Here is the link to the story site with sound clips and links as well as pictures. http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/sit...ht_2.guest.html
July 19, 200323 yr I also heard that the Bush adminstration said once they get into Iraq hte WMD would be found. I still have yet to see them. I did hear of some found near DC though.
July 19, 200323 yr I also heard that the Bush adminstration said once they get into Iraq hte WMD would be found. I still have yet to see them. I did hear of some found near DC though. I also heard Bill Clinton and all the democrats claiming that Iraq was developing WMD in 1998 when he launched Desert Fox during his Monica/Impeachment problems.
July 19, 200323 yr BTW here is the link to a collection of stories on the WMD Search being made political. http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/eibessent...guest.html#0026
July 19, 200323 yr Bush is not after anyone except the terrorists of the world. Iraq is justified because Saddam was linked to Bin Laden, end of story. Stop whining, because Democrats continue to lose votes as people realize how wrong you guys are.
July 19, 200323 yr Osama said in an Audio Tape 6-7 months ago that "He hates Saddam, and Saddam is an infidel and does not follow the ways of Allah and Mohammed." There is no link between those two what so ever. Bush is a liar and an idiot. At least Clinton was a good president (obviously a bad person) Cape- Im a big time Republican and either I can see that Bush is awful.
