Allison can be cocky and sign big contracts when he has won 300 games or struck out a million batters. He hasn't done anything yet as a pro. High school is different from the minors and majors.

July 20, 200322 yr the main reason Wagner made it to the bigs with only 9 YES THATS 9 minor league innings was the fact that he was a late inning reliever for a college team and the Reds have no pitching and Scott Sullivan got hurt recently. Its insane to bring up a kid youve had in the organization for 5 weeks.
July 20, 200322 yr I can't beleive it, but I agree with Capefish.... Allison has done nothing to endear the fans of the Fish..He had a bad rep coming out and has done nothing to change it. And I too don't care what he did in HS. I was a monster in HS and mowed em' down like it was my job, you don't see me in the show now, do ya?

July 20, 200322 yr Yeah, but the amazing talent of young draftees who don't sign right away isn't ignored by most clubs, who decide to not draft him because he and his agent are too difficult to deal with.
