No questions, this team needs to go on a tear in order to jump ahead of the pack, and it must be done now in order to build a cushion as the other teams in the pack are playing poorly. So, are you going to pack it in if we get swept? I sure hope not. Of course we need to win as many games as possible and go on a good a tear as possible, but saying the best team in baseball cant beat us for us to be contenders?
July 23, 200323 yr July is going to end soon, it is the 22nd already. This series can be a big boost, we must take it. We kill the Braves and we do play well at Turner Field. WE MUST WIN!

I'm not going to pack if we don't go on a tear Ross. I have followed this team since 1993. I don't see why you guys make excuses for our team to lose a critical series before it has begun? Doesn't make sense, if we want to contend we must win.
July 23, 200323 yr I just have this feeling well take the series, I dont know why, for some reason I always feel good about the Marlins playing in Atlanta. Obviously, every Marlin fan wants them to sweep the Braves, I just feel its not a season breaker if it doesnt happen like youre making it seem.
July 23, 200323 yr man im all 4 the tear now 14 of our next 16 are at home this brave series is the only 2 games on the road and we have penny and big red picthing... we do need to take advantage of this huge Home Stretch and right now we are 3-2 thats decient not great... i understand it is only July but this is a big point of our season we need to take advantage and now... those 2 losses to the cubs really hurt us..... I feel good with teh starting 5, there just as good as the OAK starting 5, NYY starting 5, LA starting 5... 1 more arm in the pen wouldnt hurt id love to have 5 good guys in the pen and 1 stiff... 6 guys in the pen and no stiffs would be even better.....
July 23, 200323 yr THe ATL series is just a pre-cursor...But hte w/e series with the Phils is huge. Two out of three against them would really set the table nicely.
