March 29, 200521 yr I believe that anger is less directed at the Bush brothers who did all they could or at least projected that image in the press, and more directed at the helpless feeling of not being able to help Terri.? They just represent the powers that couldn't get the job done.? The fact that they "tried" is all that counts. They didn't really "try" and the "radical base" as you call it knows it now. It would have been easy enough to simply ignore the court order just like Clinton did when DOJ seized Elian by force. FDLE was apparently ready to go. The Bush's wimped out and were unwilling to have the kind of armed showdown Clinton did. What the Bush's did was pander to the "radical middle" who had some reservations, but was willing to go along with all apparently legal procedures. Not that it would be the first time in your case. Until you can show me what "armed defiance" of any court Clinton did concerning the Elian Gonzalez case, I think you need to go take your anger elsewhere, because its making you look dimmer every day. Because last I checked INS said Elian should be with his father, if anything Clinton upheld the courts.
