July 23, 200323 yr First time poster, long time lurker. Trading Lee is a horrible idea. The only reason we'd want to do that now is if we were out of contention which we're most assuredly not. Parting with him in the offseaon will be for purely financial reasons, not anything to do with his performance. Why we'd want Kendall is beyond me. Hes so unattractive that the Pirates have resigned themselves to having to deal him and Giles just to get rid of that contract. Kendall for Lee is a horrible trade all around.

July 23, 200323 yr I've liked Kendall for awile now. Great speed for a C, hits for average and gives 110 percent. I still say throw him at 1B for the remainder and then he's back at C next year when Pudge's armored car full of Marlin money leaves town.

July 23, 200323 yr I've been huffing paint thinner... I'm told it bulds chararcter. I wouldn't mind Kendall as the Marlins' C of the future. There are worse things than that.
