Well then I guess you support a Marlins move to LV then since they could sell out every night huh? I mean it beats these 15K-25K nights. I guess everyone should move their team to one of these "American" cities.

They'll have sell outs every night!

You play 22 home games in one of those American cities in a stadium the same capacity you'd have a sellout every night.

If Miami didn't have a team and the Expos came along and played 22 home games in a stadium 18k capacity they'd sell out every night.

So once the Nationals don't have a crowd of 18K sometime during their first 22 home games, I assume you are going to make fun of them that they moved to the wrong town, correct?

The way you are just trying to twist words in my posts just shows you don't have a case.

Its so easy to say things you have no proof of.

Why stop there? Why don't you say if the Expos moved here and there was no Marlins they would sell out every game of the year.

They will easily have 3 million this year.

Show me a shred of proof as to where 18K people have bought season tickets for the Expos in any of the cities you listed.

It's called common sense.

They don't have to be season tickets. They would easily draw 18k.

is this what this thread has come to?? arguing about the expos/nationals.

gesh.

Funny isn't it.

I'm from PR. My gut feeling tells me that a MLB team can't be supported there.

On the other hand, people didn't have any loyalty to the Expos since they knew it was a temporary thing. Also, cheapest ticket was $25 bucks. Once the novelty wears out I don't see how can people would pay 25 bucks for a bleacher seat.

Write this down somewhere so you can reflect back on it in the future.? Norfolk/Virginia Beach/Williamsburg will be in the running for an East coast team. Maybe Vegas for a western division. Maybe New Orleans for a central.

I don't think so, I think Norfolk their chance with the Expos. I'm not really sure about New Orleans. The NBA and NFL seem like they want to leave.

Cities that can get team in future:

Las Vegas

Charlotte

Portland

San Antonio

Indianapolis

Tokyo as crazy as it sounds would be a great place to put a team.

Tokyo is nuts, because of travel costs and time difference. It will never happen. Vegas is ready now. Charlotte, and Portland are ten years off. San Antonio maybe 20. Indianoplace, maybe when hell freezes over.
