Take it for what it's worth...but Fat Hank's "sources" have told him the the Marlins, the city and the county are scrambling to find alternative funding should the bill in Tally fall short. The most logical thought calls for each party to kick in an additional $10 million to cover the $30 million deficit.

in other words, we'd still get $20 million in public funds?

Each side is considering kicking in an extra $10 million as a last resort. This is the first time this has been reported. The deal would have to be reworked (redone in other words) but it isn't very difficult.

the only thing i'm questioning is that previously to hanks report of 'people scrambling for an extra 30' they only said it seemed like someone was speculating that if each side kicked in an extra 10 mil.

if this is being published by multiple sources, then i'd say i'd have to be very happy. the team could defintely kick in an extra 10 mil. if you think about it, how much are we paying hampton and pudge this year that we aren't paying next year?
