April 18, 200521 yr i guess goalie. something about getting a hard rubber disk shot at you at extreme speeds and you having to make an effort to actually get in front of it.
April 18, 200521 yr probably one of the wingers... always got to have your head on a swivel(cliche much?) before getting decked by Scott Stevens
April 18, 200521 yr judging by knowledge of hockey (next to nothing) i'll go with goalie Probably the most scrutinized position, as well as painful if you don't do it right
April 18, 200521 yr Hardest position to play? Any of them, because no one is f***ing playing. :mischief
April 18, 200521 yr Center 746290[/snapback] Center is by far the easiest and least physical position on the ice :mischief . The poll should be Center, Winger, Defense, Goalie... not left D, right D, left wing, right wing because more often than not your handedness and tendencies will determine which side of the ice you're on and neither side is more difficult than the other. I'm voting for defense and it's basically a tossup between left and right, there's no difference but I voted left for the hell of it.
April 18, 200521 yr I'll be a homer and say defense. Why you ask? We are always back pedeling to protect the net. If someone gets by us, they are home free to the goalie. Its the most physical position on the team. Pucks are always flying at you and wingers are coming at you. Just one of the toughest positions to play. Since I play right D usually, I will say that.

April 19, 200521 yr goalie sure defense can block breakaway chances but its very unlikly that you will depend on that.
