alright...apparently there's a little misunderstanding...maybe it's a cultural barrier haha...I meant concert...we call concerts "shows"...sorry bout the confusion

I understood you, duder. The part where you said "who have you seen live" was kind of a giveaway.

The people on this board are a little slow, so you have to make allowances.

:lol I've only really been to two concerts, saw Godsmack at a USO show in 2003 and saw Methodman and Redman at FIU, both were great shows.

Anyway, best show I've ever been to was The Pixies at Coachella '04.

I stick to mostly cheap indie bands because I can't imagine shelling out 50 bucks and up for a concert. I've seen Broken Social Scene twice and they've been awesome both times.

Worst show ever would have to be when my parents dragged me to Crosby, Stills, and Nash when I was like 7. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....

Worst show that I thought would be good was Trail of Dead at Coachella '04. Just horrible. Walked away after like 15 minutes.

Best:

Any # of Jimmy Buffett Shows

De La Soul, Fishbone & Goodie Mob at the gym of Ithaca College

311 @ Celebrity Theatre

Reverend Horton Heat, Face to Face, Cherry Poppin Daddies at the

Electric Factory

Supersucker & Throw Rag at the 400 Bar in Minneapolis

Bloodhound Gang as part of the R.O.A.R tour

Plant/Page in Buffalo

Worst:

Tonic as part of the R.O.A.R. tour

Eric Clapton

I saw Weezer open up for Incubus a few years ago, that kicked ass.

I also really enjoyed James Taylor....he pwns so hard.

Beastie Boys at the Patriot Center, Fairfax, VA

Tricky at the 9:30 Club, DC

The Roots at the 9:30 Club, DC

Fugazi at some armory in Baltimore, MD

Talib Kweli at Verizon Ampitheatre, Charlotte, NC (Sprite Liquid Mix Tour)

those were the best I've seen...

Worst:

OAR at Verizon Ampitheatre in Charlotte, NC (Sprite Liquid Mix Tour)

Modest Mouse at the Black Cat, DC (before they were big...left halfway through the show...the two opening acts were much better)

I've seen several others, but those are the ones that stand out as good or bad in my mind.

Definitely one of the better shows I've seen, and I'm not really a huge fan of their CDs.

Can't beat the price.

Yeah, their CDs are ok, but their live shows are great, and every show is different (they don't even have a set list) and very affordable (sometimes free)...

you went out to Coachella?

seems like it should of been a really good lineup this year

Yeah, it was pretty awesome. My second time out there. Last year had better headliners, with Radiohead and the Pixies, but I thought the depth and variety of acts this year was a lot better. Something for everyone, and never a dull moment. And you can't beat the view.
