Laroche has been on fire lately. If it wasn't Andruw, it was gonna be Laroche. Just so happened, it was both.

And the Braves are back on track. Won 11-14. McCann, Chipper, Andruw, and Francouer are hitting very well. Laroche is bombing HRs. Betemit seems to be playing better than Giles was. I like where things are going. Shiell gets the start tonight I believe.

Ben Hill Griffin Stadium is a real nice stadium. I've only been there once. I've only been to mostly SEC schools, but I agree with Neyland Stadium. Huge ass stadium with an awesome Vol Navy scene on the Tennessee River. Only downside is assloads of trashy fans. I prefer Bryant Denny (Alabama) and Sanford Stadium (UGA) over Neyland Stadium though. I'd probably go UGA, Alabama, then UT. There really is nothing like "between the hedges". Athens is an insane college town, with a great mix of loud, rowdy, stereotypical college football fans from the South with classy alum in dress pants and ties. Throw in a pretty great Greek section also dorned in ties and sundresses and the odor of bourbon and boiled peanuts in the air, and you have an awesome stadium. Plus, Athens' downtown bar scene is incredible for post-game and Friday night pre-game. General Beauregard's, Bourbon Street, Roadhouse, etc.....You've gotta try it.

I drove from Jackson to Atlanta the other day to visit some friends and we're goin to see the game tonight. I'll probably be cheering for the Braves though. Marlins come in a close second though.
