I still maintain that I think this is a PR move by Bonds to just get the media off his case. I'd be surprised if he isn't back by the All-Star break.

Apparently the Giants don't like the doctors is Bonds is using, and the way he leaves the ballpark before games.

whatever it is, i'm sure glad i don't have to listen to baseball tonight start off with him every night barry bonds this barry bonds that, but the funy thing is is that he's not even playing and u still see his ballooned face every day

I don't expect him back until the All-Star break, but that's fine with me. I'm enjoying watching the Giants without him. There's no drama now. I'm not saying I don't want him back. I can't wait til he gets back. But Pedro Feliz has gotten a chance to play every day and the rest of the team is doing well without him... At this time last year, Barry was tearing the league up and they have a better record this year without him.... Go figure.

The whole knee thing is a conspiracy just to keep him out of the game long enough for the steroids to get out of his system and so he doesn't test positive :mischief .
