July 27, 200322 yr I just wanted to say this past couple of nights, I have seen the Marlins go from possible contenders to definites. They are playing like a team. In the past, when we had a runner on 3rd and 1st, you could expect an inning-ending double play. But lately, the ball has been ripped through the infield for a base hit to score a run (Pudge did it tonight...). Also, at the end of the game, the Marlins are showing a previously unfathomed killer-instinct to score runs. We had that 8 run rally last night, and the 6 run rally tonight. This team is playing good, real good right now. I know you all see it. I mean, Willis ripped a hit last night and Looper (?!) tonight! Things are going our way - for once! Good job fellas... :thumbup
July 27, 200322 yr Have you noticed everything is goign our way? There was two flies droped today. Before those two flies probably would have being caught. Its just awsome. I cant believe it. First time I ever see this team win like they have being doing, because I became a marlins fan in 1998. I did see some of the World Series but i knew nothing of baseball back then.
July 27, 200322 yr Jonnylons, if you were there the place went crazy when Looper ripped that ball. We seriously jokingly said, " I'm going to laugh when Looper rips Mesa." Next thing we know he gets a hit, then gets to 3B on a base hit, and take home on a passed ball! Nobody knew how fast he was!
