Posted May 12, 200520 yr the marlins are 20th in the league in average at 23,256 per game through 19 games. in those 19 games there have been a total of 441,879 fans. at this rate the marlins would have a total of... 1,883,736. thats 116,264 away from 2,000,000. you figure there should be some games such as the cubs series in which they can have 110,000. thats about 40,000 above average for the three game set so one would have to think their well on their way to 2 mil 1/4 of the way through their home games
May 12, 200520 yr Our attendance has been way up there this season. We are winning and fans are coming. finally....
May 12, 200520 yr Is there a site where I could find the attendance records for every game? (93'-05').
May 12, 200520 yr As long as we stay in it attendence will improve as the season goes on too. So far so good

EDIT: And looking at the chart, we've yet to draw 30K on back to back nights, and we've only broken 30K twice in 20 games, that's just pathetic. And this is with a winning team, stellar starting pitching, and matchups that have let fans see Pedro Martinez, Tim Hudson and Roger Clemens... :thumbdown
May 12, 200520 yr well, its more then las season when we wernt, so i guess that theory is working a little 771157[/snapback] This time last season, weren't we winning too? or are you just interested in posting as much as you can? :thumbdown

May 12, 200520 yr Attendance would increase dramatically if they gave away Casio fx 115 MS's instead of silly thing like posters. You can never get enough Casios. :thumbup
