June 2, 200519 yr Inspiration of one of my favorite drills... Mikan Drill  Named after the first real big man in the NBA, George Mikan. From beneath the basket, make a layup with the right hand, grab the ball out of the net and make a layup with the left hand. Continue to repeat this for a specified time(usually 30 seconds or a minute), alternating hands.
June 2, 200519 yr He was a pioneer for future big men. May not have been as household of a name as say Kareem or Magic, but I think it's hard to say he didn't do as much, if not more, for the game than any of those guys to wear Lakers' gold. R.I.P.

Stern knew about this and he wouldn't do anything to help him
