June 13, 200521 yr I may be biased.... but after tonight how can you truly call the spurs boring? hell after the wcf how can you call the spurs boring? i mean damn watch basketball outside of miami. 807397 Quit hating on Miami basketball because you have nothing else to hate on to try and "prove a point". The Spurs are boring. Tim Duncan, who is great, is the epitome of boring. They are a fundamental team who play very well but are very dull. Ginobli is a drama queen, Parker is good, Duncan is great but can put anyone to sleep and the rest of the team is filled with boring players as well. Sorry if Brent Barry and Ben Udrich doesn't strike entertainment into the hearts of America. 807454 how the hell am i hating on miami basketball? i simply said watch basketball outside of miami. that is in no way, shape or form a dig at miami basketball. damn. Ginobili may be a 'drama queen' but he is simply annihilating the daunted detroit D. 807460 You did hate on Miami basketball, and I am talking about their fans, which you do continually. By saying, "i mean damn watch basketball outside of miami", you know you took a shot at the fans. Spurs are great but alot of people find them boring, deal with it. They are great, nobody is taking that away from them. But no need to take shots at others. 807483 hating on one team's fans and hating on miami basketball are two different things.
June 13, 200521 yr Author Can the Pistons win one game? LOL. Shame on me for saying Spurs in 7. This is smelling like a sweep After watching these two games, I don't feel so bad for losing against Detroit. Miami had 0 chance to compete against the Spurs

There is no justification for taking shots and the teams fans who make up the majority of the forum because you have heard that your team is generally a boring one to watch. It's lame. Additionally, this series has been very one sided and boring. Detroit is the luckiest team in the NBA. Last year they played NJ with an injured kid and then Indiana with injuries. This year they play Indiana without Artest and a very banged up JO and roster as a whole then they play Miami with 3 of the 5 starters injured before the series and then the other 2 get hurt during it. If Shaq and Wade were healthy, or just Wade was, the Pistons would not have made the Finals this year. To me, they are a good team but a sham to be considered legit at where they are and this series has shown.

And who was hurt on Indiana last year? (seriously, I'm not doubting, I just don't remember). I've already said they were lucky against the Heat with Wade being injured, etc...but now you're just sounding bitter and like a 6th grader. You usually sound a lot more intelligent.
June 15, 200521 yr and BTW, the Spurs are f***ing animals! Playing lights out basketball right now, plain and simple. Great team.
June 15, 200521 yr Well, it appears the NBA told the refs to get the Pistons a winner and make this a series. Problem is, Spurs are so good they might win anyway....should be a close game unless the refs stop with their crap and call it even.

And the Pistons must win all 3 in Detroit to have any chance in this series, gonna be a battle just to get this 1.
June 15, 200521 yr The refs scored 17 extra points for the Pistons last night??? You guys are hilarious. Bunch o' children.

June 15, 200521 yr pistons win the next one to make it fun. then the spurs win 2 straight ending the series in Detroit.
June 15, 200521 yr Spurs didnt play like they have been playing too many turnovers and that one in the beginning was a sign
June 15, 200521 yr the refs didnt cause the spurs to lose by 17. we played like utter garbage. and we were leading until the 3rd period. Tim Duncan played like crap. Manu Ginobili played like crap. Tony Parker played like crap. Pop coached like crap. Hard to win with all those factors against you. I never expected a sweep. I just want one game in Detroit anyway. The Spurs will not roll over two nights in a row like that.
June 17, 200521 yr Manu is definitely not at 100% tonight. And Detroit seems to have that same fire in their defense tonight.
June 17, 200521 yr wow this has to be the worst half of the playoffs for the spurs 812852 More than likely...Both Manu and Tony P are struggling in this game. That Pistons defense is playing on fire right now.
