June 12, 200521 yr :arms ....Delgado once again hitting in the clutch to inspire the offense ...Mikey really looking like he's got his swing back ....Alex once again surprising everyone with the game winning HR (OBTW he's hitting over .280 in June no less) They didn't get down after Leiter gave up the granny and ended up with a huge comeback win. Looks like they guys have turned the corner now. :thumbup
June 12, 200521 yr Delgado is shutting up some people here when they thought he wasnt worth signing for 50 million....now he is talkin back. He has found his power stroke and using it well. Nice to see Lowell get back on track!
June 12, 200521 yr also, it seems like a lot of games we've done nothing against the starter, and then teed off on mediocre relievers late in the game. today, the offense knocked rogers, no lightweight this year, out of the game. great win.

We chased him after 5.2 with 5 ERs. :thumbup
June 12, 200521 yr Hey, Mods close this thread!!! FIRE BILL ROBINSON WILLINGHAM FOR PHAROAH!!GF AMON RA JACK IS STUPID GURGLE
June 12, 200521 yr Looks like Delgado has already adjusted to the NL, now we just need Pierre to start performing again.
June 12, 200521 yr Let's see how the rest of the week goes before we declare the offense acceptable. Clutch, huge, amazing, any superlative adjective describes these past two games, but we played so badly for the last two weeks that it's going to take a prolonged stretch before I'm willing to breathe easily...
June 12, 200521 yr For how much money the Marlins are losing on Leiter, they are certainly getting their money's worth in Delgado. 806396 Word. Carlos has been worth every dime.
June 12, 200521 yr Nice to see all the big hits tonight.....in particular from Mikey and Alex. Good game.

June 12, 200521 yr that was a great win against a super pitcher. It will give them a lot of condidence for the coming days. I believe we are turning the page here. Let's see how they do in Chicago.
June 12, 200521 yr Looks like Delgado has already adjusted to the NL, now we just need Pierre to start performing again. 806390 um....he's facing the AL right now....
June 12, 200521 yr now we just need Pierre to start performing again. He's about to bust down the door. He's coming. And Delgado is absolutely carrying this offense on his back. If this man is not an all star, it is a crying shame.
June 12, 200521 yr Author My boy Sea Bass has scored the winning run both nights.? :thumbup 806494 Alex has the potential to be a .300 hitter. He showed very good patience last night, and for the most part has shown unusual patience the entire year. Early on he was unfortunate to hit the ball right at people, and that was the main reason he BA started off in the low .200s. Now if he can only manage to keep it up the entire season...........one can only dream.
