if you pick up Sanders or White, its gonna cost you.... and then why would you sit them?

and wild card, odom is kidding

Reggie Sanders has frequently been a bench player in the past. Besides, he's not better than Encarnacion or Cabrera, but would certainly give us an added boost on the bench. Depth never hurts.

agreed but Pitt wanted alot for Sanders....

who knows, we still may pick up a bat or another arm in the waiver wire...

in fact.... i expect it

Now we just have Looper to close, Urbina to set, and just Bump, Tejera, and Almanza to take care of the rest of our time.

When did Tommy Phelps die?

And the last time I checked, Kevin Olsen being out does nothing to hurt us. in fact, the way he'd been pitching, I'd rather him be in AAA. Olsen being out has NO effect on this teams success. BORLAND, on the other hand, is the only AAA pitcher that can help us win (besides Levrault). I like Beinfest's thinking by not getting anyone. The pen is cramped as it is. Example: A very good pitcher with us, Levrault, being sent down. Someone else will also have ot be sent down when Spooney comes back. Tim will definately bulster our pen for the playoff run in September.
