Shaq just finished his Masters Degree

I guess it's something to fall back on just incase the whole basketball thing doesn't work out, LMAO.

"It's just something to have on my resume (for) when I go back into reality," Shaquille O?Neal said Saturday before picking up his master's in business administration degree from the University of Phoenix. The 7-foot-1 Miami Heat center returned to his old Los Angeles Lakers stomping ground at the Forum in Inglewood, CA for the ceremony, which included 2,200 graduates.

"Someday I might have to put down a basketball and have a regular 9-to-5 like everybody else." Shaq said. "Sports for me has always been, you know, fairy tale life. And this right here is real life. This right here means more."

O'Neal, who left Louisiana State University as a junior in 1992 to turn pro, returned to the school to earn a bachelor's in business in 2000, making good on a promise to his mother. For the University of Phoenix, a national for-profit college that caters to working adults, Shaq completed courses online, and before he was traded from the Lakers to the Miami Heat, attended classes several days a week at a West Los Angeles campus.

Diesel worked with classmates to design mock sneaker and cell phone companies. His fellow students weren't intimidated, he joked.

"They would all say, 'You're not like we thought you would be. You're not as smart as we thought that you would be,'" O'Neal said.

Shaq?s MBA follows his 2003 graduation from the Los Angeles Police Academy. The NBA star is also mulling a degree in criminal justice and hopes to eventually work as a sheriff or police chief.

I think it's mostly about keeping busy after retirement. Though, if I were him, I'd just hang out with my kids all day. But I guess they have to go to school at some point and you gotta do something to pass the time. I'll stop rambling now.

I hope he runs for Mayor of Orlando. He would win in a landslide.

Yea Shaq got his masters degree...big whoop...wanna fight about it?
