makes me want to create a poll, does cabrera have a realistic shot of winning the triple crown in the next few years...

The reason i became a marlin fan in 95

unless cabrera's homerun numbers go way up from his average of around 35 (he'll need AT LEAST 46). and if he can get people to get on base infront of him then it should be easy. but it will be tough because the first is extreamly hard to do and the second is out of your control. Albert Pujols is the greatest pure hitter in the sport (power and average) and he hasn't come close to the triple crown. I'd say if anyone was going to win it in the next 5 years it would be albert. He averages 40+ hrs and 120+ rbi's a season + .300+ batting every season. Cabrera just isnt at that level yet. Hopefully he will be soon.
