The_Punisher
Looking for relief: The Marlins continue to search for relief help, and Kansas City left-hander Jeremy Affeldt is a possibility. Affeldt, 26, has been on the disabled list since June 19 with a groin injury. He was the Royals' closer for part of last season and early this season. Affeldt, scheduled to return Friday, has no decisions and a 2.79 ERA in 9 2/3 innings. He had 13 saves and a 4.50 ERA in 30 relief appearances last season. He is making $950,000 this season. http://www.palmbeachpost.com/marlins/conte...notes_0707.html DO YOU GUYS THINK THIS IS WORTH HAPPENING??? rferry
Justin Huber for Jose Bautista Denny Bautista for Jason Grimsley Don't trade with Kansas City
wanks1212
With the way Guillermo Mota has been pitching lately, is relief help all that necessary?

wanks1212
Meh, I don't think it's worth it to give up a decent prospect for someone who would amount to, at best, a 7th inning guy.

cubangm
Affeldt has a great arm, and lots of potential but is always on the DL. I'll love to have him on the Marlins if we don't have to give up any top prospects.

All four of those guys are crapola.
rferry
Huber and Denny Bautista are a lot better than the guys on the other side of the ledger. In the case of Jose Bautista he was readily available off the waiver wire a week before or after the trade I believe. Kansas City got a pretty good package from the Beltran trade too. A catching (Buck) and thirdbase (Teahan) prospect that could start the next year.
