WhoShaq
And the Marlins bad luck continues :banghead And another season where the Braves will make 1st place and waste space in the post season...getting knocked out of the first round. I hate that effing team. :mad
Guest Juanky
We didn't lose anything, over the last two days the Marlins and Braves are both 2-0. It's back to pre-Wednesday level, at 3.5. Surmountable.
miami15
Having the Cubbies in who are on a terrible downward sprial (lost 8 or 9 in a row) might be worth it lol if we can sweep them and gain more ground in the division who cares?
Fishin2004
the braves are the team to beat this year, like every year. they have magic powers....imagine what would happen to us if we lost our top 3 starters? it just washes off them somehow. IknowFeloRamirezIRL
With Willis on the mound tomorrow and the Cubs struggling like they are, I have a good feeling about this series...

We came in to today , July 7th 2005, 3 game behind in the WC race.At the end of the day, July 7th 2005, we are now 3 1/2 games behind. I just hate it when we seem to have to grind it out for victories just to keep pace. But to lose ground on a day where we not only win...but we win big.....drives me crazy :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES I HATE THE BRAVES :chair
PBMarlin
It's simple. We need to take care of business when we play them the rest of the season.
MarlinsFan253
Just bribe Hurricane Dennis as he passes. Maybe he will make an extra long stop in Atlanta and blow the Braves out to sea.

One of today's games was a makeup of yesterday's game, so it's as if they played it yesterday and won and then played again today and won. We've been behind 3.5 through today. Guest Juanky
Yeah, that's difficult to comprehend for some reason or another. One of today's games counts as yesterdays - no ground was lost or gained.
FishFan24
We're not exactly at the point of the season that it should be doom and gloom. We are still very much in this race with half the season left to go. Now if we were talking about this in Mid-September, then I'd be a bit worried. But just relax. :thumbup
PBMarlin
Atlanta is going to overtake the Nationals by the end of July. And we are not going to be far behind.
Admin
Yeah, let's make a big deal out of losing a .5 game in the race today. What more could the Marlins do exactly today? We're 2 back in the loss column on the Braves... only thing that really matters.
