MarlinsFan253
The Marlins have been in search of another reliever, and yet no trade has been made yet. So basically, this team is going to start the second half of the season without the bullpen help that they have been wanting. I guess they are demonstrating confidence in the offense too because no changes have been made in that area either. I was thinking that if changes are going to be made, we might as well make them now while new players can still make a difference in this season. I guess we can hope that the Marlins will break loose as is since everyone knows they are an underachieving team much like the Yankees this year. Guest FlummoxedLummox
Any lack of changes might not entirely be due to a desire for lack of changes. They could very well have wanted to unload Lowell (for example), but are unable to. Help doesn't always come when we want it, but rather when someone else is willing to part with it. Or, for that matter, trades happen when someone else is willing to accept what we're willing to part with, which will in turn make them willing to part with what we're willing to accept. Trades are very complicated.
legacyofCangelosi
I wonder if trading lowell is a good idea. I mena he may have more value now than if he continues to deteriorate, but I wonder if he can still turn it around.
