Dontrelle Willis in ESPN's Quite Frankly

Featured Replies

I started watching late, Dontrelle was great again. . .

Some Highlights:

- He is very proud to be the 13th African-American to win more than 20 games. "Can't take history away from me"

- When asked by the public, if he would play for the Yankees (Stephen also highlighted the money) he said that he is loyal and his heart is with the Florida Marlins. He is grateful he was given the chance by the team when he was only 21 and he loves South Florida. He commended the organization and said he hopes they never get sick of him.

- He believes Rafael Palmeiro is telling the truth

We gotta get this guy to stay here for a long time. He is a class act and has amazing talent. :notworthy

We are so fortunate to have Dontrelle on our team. He's one of the most unpretentious, talented players I've ever seen.

I hope that management is smart enough to make him a Marlin forever. Him and Cabs need to stay here for the rest of their careers...
