I was a huge Rob Nen fan when he was in Florida and still followed him till the very end

Robb Nen basically sacrificed his career for the Giants in 2002... He is a hero in San Francisco... I friggin love that guy...

The Giants honored him earlier in the year, it was such a great game...they had players say something about him via tape on the jumbotron from all over the Majors...ex giants, current giants, guys he never even played with...virtually every ex giants in the majors said something about him...i got his auto in the parking lot after the game

the Giants are still hurting from the loss of Nen...we've had 5 closers in 3 years...Tim Worrell was reliable, but he couldn't hold a candle to Nen...he left on free agency, and Herges took his place...He was crap and got yanked from the role in early august and Dustin Hermanson filled his place...for awhile he was lights out, but down the stretch turn to crap and played the key role in ruining our season....then we signed the $21.5 million mistake, Armando Benitez, who's been crap his entire career except for one fluke year...he was injured for most of the year, and has pitched like crap when healthy...Tyler Walker, his replacement, has been mediocre at best, but our best closer since Worrell, which is sad

Nen's a class act, and I miss the feeling of knowing the game was over when he came in...I miss hearing smoke on the water when the Giants had a close lead going into the ninth, the scoreboard flashing "Nenth Inning"...It may be along time before the Giants get to see that again...

hopefully the Giants trade Benitez and use the money to sign Billy Wagner

I never got to see him pitch but maybe 2 games (Not as a Marlin)

I guess I missed some good stuff
