Jim Everett vs Jim Rome

When does Rome yell?

Who said he yells? Although, many could argue his annoying "I know everything you know squat" delivery is a lot like yelling.

That guy is what's wrong with sports and started the "guys on sports show yelling" thing.

And Iowa, Rome gets more top notch interviews then any sports radio personality in the nation.

Ah, I see. I didn't mean Rome's show in general and will admit that by yelling I meant two or more sports guys talking over one another (see: Around the Horn and Max Kellerman).

Good for him. People like Battlefield Earth. What's your point? I mean, on some level everywhere there's someone who likes crap. Rome is the sports version of Rush Limbaugh.

I was replying to Brodie on the fact that he put that Rome would be talking to a second rate journalist.

And I never even typed anything about how popular his show was or how many people like it. Why do you have to start an argument for everything?

Wah.

I don't like the guy, if you do, then you do. I don't care either way what you listen to. I think it sucks. And, for the most part, stuff on messageboards are put in argument form (your pissy response is, in itself, in argument form).

Nobody listens to Rome for his opinions on sports. It's all about his entertainment value. The guy is a shameless LA homer, but he's absolutely hilarious and says stuff a lot of people are afraid of saying.

ooo, yeah so controversial.... :whistle
