In some way it's his fault Stat-boy got his awful show and for all the awful shows like it. I like it when sports casters cover the sport and it's not about their ego or how awesome they are.

I thought he was good a long time ago but then I just stopped and thought about his style of bashing on one person for about 20 minutes at a time, and just thought, god this guys a tool. The guy is a shameless LA homer, but he's absolutely hilarious and says stuff a lot of people are afraid of saying. Also, the "screaming sports guy" has a lot more to do with the huge ratings that PTI got than with Jim Rome's popularity.

Yeah, Rome fans are the worst because, whether they realize or not, THEY TALK AND SPEAK WITH THE SAME FREAKING ANNOYING TONE AND DISRESPECT FOR EVERYTHING THAT HE DOES! Oh, my GOD, I hate Rome fans the worst for that. And the best is when a Rome fan calls THINKING he knows Rome is going to agree with him and goes on a "Rome rant" and then he ends up tearing into his own fan and making him look like an idiot when his whole outlook is based on something Rome said last episode.

I was replying to Brodie on the fact that he put that Rome would be talking to a second rate journalist. And I never even typed anything about how popular his show was or how many people like it. Why do you have to start an argument for everything?
September 28, 200520 yr The very few times I've listened to Rome lately, his guests haven't been near the level that Dan Patrick gets. Rome is 2nd rate compared to Patrick Another thing about Rome, if someone doesn't want to do any interview with him, he will berate that person over the air for a long time. The guy is a real POS.
September 28, 200520 yr Im not going to debate this, because its all personal taste...and I dont dislike any radio personality enough to call them a piece of sh*t... But anyways my favorite radio program is by far The Third Shift on Fox Radio with Jorge Sedano (He is out of miami, some of you guys should be familiar with him). He is on 1-5am here, and 2-6am eastern. The whole crew they have is awesome.
