August 17, 200323 yr I really hope we don't do what we did with Milwaukee. Althoughthat game was an embarrassment, the worst part is what it did to the WC standings. If we finish half a game or one game out I'm going to say, "If only we'd have swept Milwaukee...". Anyway, let's sweep the Pads and hope that the Cards can figure out the Phillies. Beckett vs Eaton. HMMM......
August 17, 200323 yr I don't think winning a series against a team is an emabarassment. Yeah, there was no sweep but its not like they took it to us. We can't expect perfection from these guys. We should be able to beat teams like Mil. and SD but if we take 2 of 3 or 3 of 4 thats a huge success.

August 17, 200323 yr We struggle in day games. It's going to be tough to pull the sweep in this one. The Marlins should play the Padres tomorrow like we played the Phillies 2-3 weeks ago that sunday.
