The angle they showed on NFL Prime Time certainly made it look like Pollard was in. In any case, I don't know how they overturned it. That was a gift.

Makes me almost want to puke seeing that I was there...hearing "Detroit Sucks" (which is true) got really old on the way out of the stadium. Boy, I love post 2002 Bucs fans.

But I felt they had evidence showing he was out of bounds. What can ya do?

Taking the Berman line, eh? Good.

I didn't know they awarded the Lombardi Trophy in October.

My team won. Why the f*** do you care? Best start we've had in a looooong time. After years in the doghouse we're finally in a position to do something. I'm happy about it. Sorry for being a fan.

And the scary part is this team hasn't peaked yet.

Call me when they play a real team, homey.

Oh he was in bounds. THe thing I didn't get was if they called him OB to begin with and when the reviewed it they stayed with the OB call I would have understood it, but the fact that they actually overturned it to OB shocked me.

I'LL TAKE IT THO!!

4-0!!

THe Lions do not have a bad team, but weather it is throught the draft or free gency you guys have ot get a QB.

I couldn't care less who won that game. Get that through your head. All I said was that an awful call was made and you jumped in like a douche bag, as usual, and started with your biased Bengal nonsense. Then you start talking sh*t and expect me not to say something back?

As for them not peaking, the defense certainly has. They will not keep this up for the whole season, especially in the secondary.

Talk your sh*t when your team actually does something against a real team. Beating 4 teams that have combined to have a 23% win percentage this year does not impress me. Good teams are supposed to do that. With your joke schedule, anything under 12 wins is not all that impressive truthfully. Talk to me after you take on the Steelers twice and the Colts once. Then we will see how good the Bengals really are.

Taking the Berman line, eh? Good.

Good. We did play a real team. Texans are in the NFL. They're not very good, but they're REAL. Plus they had two weeks to prepare and were pretty well-prepared and played hard for the new offensive coordinator. The Vikings also classify as a REAL team. And the Bears. I don't claim they're great, but good lord. Man, can you imagine how ostracized I'd be if I did this all Marlins season.

"Man, that win didn't count because the team's you played suck!"

Oh, wait! I'm not that gay. And Fritz, I have called you, why won't you return them you S.O.B?

You got surved by FeLo.

Bengals don't make the schedule. The league office does. I never talked sh*t. You're the one whining like a baby over a game you don't claim to care about.

Go to any pro stadium and you will hear chants that the opposition sucks.

And generalizing a fan base that had tickets hard to come by and a waiting list in '98 is pretty lame imo.

Yes, I know about the chants and I agree with that. I don't really care other than that it could have been a much nicer walk to the car.

Having lived in central Florida, I know about the Buccaneers fans. I don't know how their ticket system works, but I got tickets to the game on Saturday (last) night. It definitely was not even close to hard. Season tickets could be a different story, but they don't sell 65,000 (or whatever RayJay holds) of those.

Lemme just say thank god that Oakland won because that Sapp call in the 3rd quarter was awful....

Could be worse. You could have gone to a Browns game and had grown men get on all fours and "bark" you to your seat.

You may be right about now, but when I lived in Tampa around that time, there was a waiting list on season tickets. But coupled with their recent years, it may have fallen off.

Im just not sure Id go as far as saying that it is a bandwagon filled stadium when I know that they had a tremendous fan base when they were orange and red.

Noticing a glaring mistake by the officiating isn't whining. He's arguing for the integrity of the game. Sure, your team won on a call that was atrocious and you're on cloud 9 since your team is on its first 4-0 start since they wore leather helmets, but you have to use a teeny, tiny bit of objectivity.

Anyway, when the Bengals play teams that aren't awful (Steelers, Ravens?) we'll see what they're made of. I give you credit though, B, you've made me go from rooting for a team that has gone from NFL laughingstock to a legitimate Superbowl team to absolutely loathing them. Congratulations.

1. The word is SERVED. And you are a moron. I am pretty sure everyone on the board is aware that unlike college, the NFL teams do not make their own schedules. That said, the Bengals still have a piss poor schedule this year (possibly the easiest in the league) and I still stand by my statement that anything under 12 wins should be viewed as a disappointment.

2. All you have done is talk sh*t about the Bengals

3. I could care less who won the game. I just have a problem with a game having the outcome decided by the referees instead of the players. Especially when the refs had a chance to overrule their own mistake and still get a call blatantly wrong. That's what I have a problem with.

It's Sunday. I'll be objective the rest of the week. Until then, I'll be a homer. I'm still fired up, what do you expect?

I am assuming that you are a fan of the Dolphins. So would you rather be 4-0 having played the Bengals or Bucs schedule or be 2-1 playing your schedule? It is ridiculous to descredit a team because of who they have played. This isn't college, we aren't playin Texas State. How about you give the Bucs some props for going form 0-4 to 4-0!

The angle they showed on NFL Prime Time certainly made it look like Pollard was in. In any case, I don't know how they overturned it. That was a gift.

Thing was, I wasn't saying it was a bandwagon filled stadium (it wasn't all the way filled today). I know many people from the surrounding Tampa area that have always cheered for the Bucs, just the same as any team's fans do...however, the entire state of Florida (outside of Gainesville and Tally) is just filled with people who jump on bandwagons (see: 2002 Bucs). Those were the type of people I saw outside the stadium today and that's why I said the whole "post 2002 bucs fans" thing.

I have no ill feelings towards the Bucs, I really don't. I'm glad to see they're 4-0. I want them to win their division. I just wish I didn't live in such a sh*tty sports state (again, outside of Gainesville and Tally).

You got surved by FeLo.

I'm a fan! Why do you have to poopoo everything? Damn, talk about a whiny little succubus. Sure, we made our schedule real easy and we suck and all these wins are just us looking good for no reason. You're right. We shouldn't even suit up. The Bengals should just quit the league.

What is your point? Of COURSE I'm talking a LITTLE sh*t, just don't take everything so seriously, dood. I'm happy. And you can phonetically spell words anyway you want, it's the internets!

After 14 years of close games being decided by referees one call went our way. Big freaking deal. Let's say they get that play, they still have to drive 70-some yards down the field and score. History is history.

Hugg doesn't talk nearly the crap you do. I have no problem with being excited, but you're taking it to a whole new level of jackassery. I'd say you're about on par with a soccer hooligan and the only thing that's preventing you from reaching that is you haven't beaten someone to death for liking another team.

Anyway, FeLo, I wasn't arguing that wins count less when you beat bad opponents, HOWEVA , you're talking as if you've beaten top notch competition and you're just going to roll to 7-0. Sure, the Jets have an awful offense, but that defensive line will shut down Caddy (who came back to Earth in a big way today against a defense that gave up 20something points to the Bears). Also, the Fins won't roll over and I really like our chances considering we'll have Ricky back and it's just gonna be one more weapon for Scott Linehan to use to exploit the Bucs defense.

The angle they showed on NFL Prime Time certainly made it look like Pollard was in. In any case, I don't know how they overturned it. That was a gift.

I hate the word "bandwagon" too...and I was not using it in a general sense there. I'm still wish the Lions would have won though, seeing that my other boys got whipped on Saturday.

Im glad to see you took his injured hamstring into account today. He was not even 50% of his usual self and left in the third.

It's Sunday. I'll be objective the rest of the week. Until then, I'll be a homer. I'm still fired up, what do you expect?

That being said, you said:

you've made me go from rooting for a team that has gone from NFL laughingstock to a legitimate Superbowl team to absolutely loathing them

Oh, dood you just put Howeva. Must be a moron according to "The Fan."

However, I don't know where you're coming from on this here. Maybe you need to PM me and tell me what your personal problem is. Or maybe not. I don't personally care, but you MUST have some problem since it's your job to go around and quote me.

I don't care that you root for the Dolphins at all. I don't care about that team at all, I figured you'd take most of my past hating as "joking" but maybe you didn't. They're not in our division and I'm willing wait until the end of the season to see what's sorted out in what way. But, I don't think you need to take every post of mine as a "Soccer Hooligan" post. I don't think I've ever taken sports so seriously I'd ever physically harm someone, which you seem to be insinuating.

You got surved by FeLo.

Bengals don't make the schedule. The league office does. I never talked sh*t. You're the one whining like a baby over a game you don't claim to care about.

How original.

All right, it is obvious their is no use arguing with someone who is a moron such as yourself. It is clear you can not grasp very fundamental items in the english language and have no remote ability in the reading comprehension department.

We will see how good you really are when you play a good team. Not a bottom feeder. Before about 20 minutes ago, I had no reason to dislike the Bengals, but you have gladly supplied that for me. I can not wait until the Colts run that overrated secondary wild all over the field.

And you are right, the Texans would still have to go about 70 yards to score a TD to take the lead. Would that have happened? Probably not. However, they would have had to go only about 40 yards to get into range for a potential FG to tie the game up and probably send it into overtime. Would that have happened? Who knows. And that is the point. We really don't know and they should have been given the chance to try and do so. They had 1 TO and over 2 minutes to try and it was only 2nd down. My problem was the refs ultimately deciding the games outcome. However, since you have little reading comprehension, you apparently can not understand that.

I hate the word "bandwagon" too...and I was not using it in a general sense there. I'm still wish the Lions would have won though, seeing that my other boys got whipped on Saturday.

Easily the most overused sports phrase ever. So old, so tired. And I'm just starting to hear that.
