Help me with my Dilemma

Featured Replies

I live in an apartment and the people above me are the biggest a**holes...They play this really loud rap music and are two of the most ghettoest punks you'll ever meet. I said hello to them one time and they said "what the f*** do you want?" They make so much damn noise and I don't know what to do. I don't want to go up there because they won't listen and I can't go to the apartment people to get them in trouble because their gonna ask if i told them to stop. What should I do???

Get one of these:

Agreed. The guys above me blast sh*tty music all the time, we got everyone within listening distance to sign a petition to shut them up and we posted on their door and they've been better about it.

Well, if there's other people living around them you can still complain...

Or prank the f*** out of them and leave a note saying "Turn that sh*t down or your rims are next."

Oh and it ain't no dilemma unless you have two potentially good choices to choose from. This one seems liek you're screwed and going to have to bite the bullet either way.

In that case may as well change his username to "FishFaninPrison"

I don't think there are any of those yet....

You could go to the apartment manager, and tell them everytime you've tried to talk to them in any fashion it was met with hostility. The petition sounds good, talk to your other neighbors, and if you can get enough signatures, take that to the apartment manager. Other than that, if confrontation and beurocracy doesn't work, are there any other financially suitable apartments you could move to? Maybe a different part of the building even? I know you are not at fault and shouldn't have to be the one to move, but it might end up being the best option.

Find out if other people are having the same problem...if they are, go as a group to the building manager. If this is a daily problem, I'm sure you're not going to be alone in wanting to have the music turned down.

When they say "what the f*** do you want" answer with "I want you to turn your f***in music down". If he gets confronational kick his ass (as long as they make the first move you're good)

Yeah, because the law recognizes the "golden rule" of high school fistfights. :confused

?

The law recognizes that if someone attacks you you are allowed to fight back. Or should you just take a beating?

The law doesn't really equate to the verdict in this era, unfortunately.
