Stop running the offense through Walker, please!

Does any team pwn us more?

WTF happened at the end when nobody fouled? It's like they just gave up with enough time left....

it's the curse of trading Eddie Jones :mischief

I was getting mad about that. He was doing a lot of fouling that didn't get called. I could not stand the refs tonight.

no its more like the curse of antoine walker.

I hope we play the Pacers during the playoffs at some point. I'm sick of losing to them. I feel very good about our chances against them if both teams come in fully healthy.

Posey will be a huge help against them, and if Shaq is healthy you won't have quite the offensive ugliness we witnessed tonight. Wade tried to go one on five way too many times tonight, and really no one else was able to pick up the slack. Walker scored 14 of the ugliest points I've ever seen, and Jason Williams dribbles like a retard. I'm surprised he doesn't turn the ball over more.

Also, the refs called far too many fouls this evening. The second half was just ugly to watch.

posey will be a big help as long as he is 100% or close to it.

walker always makes basketball look ugly. the sooner that the heat sign jay williams and find a way to put him in the starting lineup or at least in teh lineup in crunch time they better off they will be.

I like the Jay Williams idea. I was a supporter of it in the offseason when there were rumors about...

But I am gonna give J-Dub a chance to prove himself. Payton is doing an admirable job off the bench.

Once Posey is back, Walker won't play as many minutes, we'll have more defense on the floor. Wade/Posey will be a great defensive duo, with Zo patrollin the rim (is he really getting better at that with age? Jesus Christ)

This team is incredibly talented, and they are almost winning games without Shaq, Posey, Doleac, Anderson....and with Walker and Williams basically playing like crap.

Yeah, I forgot about Shandon Anderson. He'd also be good to put in there against a team like the Pacers.

Jason Williams isnt exactly immune to playoff basketball. There is a reason why the Kings tended to play Jackson more than Williams in the fourth quarters.

Shandon Anderson is a journeyman player and I wouldnt exactly be counting on him to truly give you great games, he can make a shot sometimes but not much else.

You very seldom can teach an old dog new tricks when it comes to the NBA. You surely arent going to do it with two old dogs at the same time.

Antonie Walker and Jason Williams both make way too many bonehead decisions when the game in on the line to make me comfortable.

Anderson played almost the entire season with Miami last year. He is a great defender--something we lack, and is great off the bench.

Even if we can get one of them to wise up a bit, that'd be a plus. I just get the feeling that it's impossible for them both to continue playing so poorly. Williams already showed flashes with a couple nice threes last night, but Walker is making some bone headed decisions. His little tippie-toe dance down the court isn't going to help the team.

No way Jay Williams should be starting. He hasn't played pro ball in 3 years, and would only be entering his 2nd season. He needs another year or two to develop before he can become a full-time starter. It's not a good idea on a team like this with the win-now philosophy. His rookie numbers weren't all that great either.

If we didn't have a good backup PG or starting PG would I want the Heat to sign Jay Williams? Sure. But for this season, Payton is the better option. As for JWill, it has only been 5 games. We need to wait until January or so to evaluate the players and the team. It's too early. Jason Williams hurts the team shooting-wise compared to DJ, but improves our passing, ballhandling, and doesn't commit many turnovers.

Walker has shot well from the field so far (51% effective field goal percentage), but has shot very poorly from the line (Shaq-like levels), so his true shooting percentage is a below average 51%. I would have preferred Shareef, but Walker at backup PF once Posey comes back is a boost to our bench.

walker and williams are not green to this league. we know pretty well what they are capable of.

i hope stan can continue to control jason, because if he reverts to his sacto days...bad times ahead for miami.

the most important part of that trade made last year was and still is james posey.
