Juan Pierre(2/2) got out somehow

 

Pudge(2/2) strikes out looking

 

for the record, the Marlins 1-3 batters started off the game 6/6 with 6 runs scored

announcers have received numerous(sp?) emails on "how does Pudge look".... their answers: "amazing", "best he has looked in a while" and "awesome"

projected starting rotation: AJ Burnett, Josh Beckett, Brad Penny, Mark Redman, Carl Pavano... this may change because Penny is facing a possible suspension because of his fight with Vlad Guerrero

Gerald Williams is now at the plate with 2 out and 1 on and he gets a infield single as Vilandia came up with it but did not throw to 1st

 

A hit to CF and Castro is out at home don't know who was the hitter

Mets news: Pedro Astacio will most likely start the year off on the DL

 

Mets beat writer Ed Coleman says Marlins pitchers need to show consistency but other than that bashes the team and gives us no chance in the divison.... he also says Leiter didnt have his 'A' game today, so in other words he wasnt impressed with the Marlins offensive outburst..... Coleman is now bashing the Braves new pitchers, Byrd, Hampton and Ortiz..... now he is talking about the Mets and they are very good... this guy isnt a homer or anything :rolleyes:
